Lily Leads Show & Tell

Lily was so nervous she didn’t know what to do! It was her first-ever show and tell at her new school, and she thought she had brought the perfect thing, but now she wasn’t so sure...

Lily brought her favorite paint set and was so excited to have her new classmates try painting their favorite animals. But when she showed up to class, everyone else brought their iPad!

Lily was so nervous that nobody would like her paints. She saw everyone else playing on their iPads but no one wanted to paint. Lily started to feel sad and moved to the back of the classroom.

Lily sat in the back of the classroom feeling gloomy. “Why didn’t anyone want to play with her paint set”, she thought?

All her classmates were too focused on their iPads to notice Lily all alone, until...

One of her classmates, Sarah, sighs with disappointment when her iPad dies.

Looking around the room, Sarah spots Lily by herself. Sarah makes her way to the back of the classroom to join Lily.

“Can I paint with you?” Sarah said to Lily. Lily looked up with a smile and said, “sure, I brought extra brushes for the class!” The two girls giggled as they decided what to paint.

Lily decided to paint a silly sloth because it was her favorite animal. Sarah chose to paint a friendly frog because she loved the color green. The classmates started to notice how much fun the girls were having while using their imagination.

Next, two more classmates walk up to Lilly and ask her if they can paint too! “I want to paint my dog, Lucky!” Jim exclaimed. “Wow! You’re frog looks great, Sarah!” Nat says as he picks up a paint brush. Slowly, but surely the rest of the class picks up a brush and begins to paint their own class zoo.

After everyone has finished their works of art Jim walks up to Lilly and says, “Thanks for bringing this to class! I had so much fun!” Lilly smiles while her teacher places the entire classes paintings at the front of the room. She is so happy she started this fun project!
