Upcoming May DCM
Volume 5 Issue 8 May 16th , 2013
What: Joint May DCM — Divisions 26/27/28/32/33
When: 1:00-4:00pm on May 25th 2013 (Saturday)
Where: Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park (1201 Lake Washington Boulevard North, Renton) The May DCM will be a beach picnic/potluck! Key Clubbers from 5 different divisions will be taking part, so this will be a great chance to meet new people and reconnect with friends from DCON. There will be competitions, a scavenger hunt, beach time, and lots of food and friends. We will also be saying goodbye to our wonderful seniors! Rainbow Board points will be awarded to Garfield if you attend. Miracle Minute is happening! If $200 is raised, you can have a chance to pie the LTGs in the face. If $300 is raised, they’ll jump in the lake!
MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, I hope you are having a great week so far—I know you’ve been sweating it through those AP tests and all! We’ve added new events, including local favorites such as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and Folklife! If you’ve never been to Folklife before, volunteering with Key Club is a great way to experience it, since you can enjoy the music and art during and after your shift. (The officers are very excited about this event as well) Also, the upcoming May DCM will be a joint DCM between several divisions, and it’s traditionally the DCM where we say goodbye to our graduating seniors. Last year’s May DCM was my first DCM ever, and it was definitely a fun and worthwhile experience. If you’ve never been to a DCM, you should definitely come!
