Garfield HS KEY CLUB The Official Newsletter of James A. Garfield High School Key Club, Division 26
November 27th, 2013
Holiday Fundraising (Are you hungry yet?) Mmmm....doughnuts! If you missed the first few rounds of $1 Krispy Kreme doughnut sales, fear not! There will be plenty of delicious fundraisers to last you all until winter break. Peppermint bark sales will begin starting after Thanksgiving holiday. It will be around $1.50 for a large 3”x 3” piece and $1 for a 3”x 2” piece. Proceeds go towards the club, so help out and buy some from an officer and encourage your friends to do so as well!
MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, Thanks to all who have been supporting our fundraiser, whether you have been buying, selling, or both. Fundraising for our club, Eliminate Project, and KCCP is a vital function of Key Club, so we appreciate any help we can get! As you may have noticed, the online signup sheet has been officially deactivated. It will still reflect the ongoing changes to events; however, you MUST come to the lunch meetings to sign up on the physical signup sheet. If you have Running Start or other conflicts, please let Angel know what events you would like to sign up for! And remember...TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN DUES!! Enjoy your early dismissal and have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! You should definitely come to the November DCM instead of getting trampled on Black Friday. -Reanne Wong
