MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, I hope you’ve registered by now—if you haven’t, dues are now $17. Remember, you need 30 hours for new members and 60 hours for returning members in order to be eligible to attend DCON in April. In addition to these club events, Division 26 has a volunteer event at Jefferson Community Center on the 25th and a DCM on the following day. You can make new friends at these events, or meet up with other friends in Division 26 schools and make a difference in your community at the same time! I know I had a great time at Key Leader this past weekend because I was able to befriend so many Key Clubbers from beyond my home club and division. Trust me; it’s completely worth it going to Key Club events (DCMs, DCON, Seattle Rally, Key Leader, etc.) because you meet the most amazing people! -Reanne Wong
As a preferred charity, Kiwanis and Key Club International supports the efforts of UNICEF’s yearly Trick-or-Treat fundraiser. Donations collected from boxes will go towards Kiwanis International’s Eliminate Project to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus. One dose of vaccine to protect a mother and all her future babies costs only US $1.80, so everything, even a little spare change, helps!
Here’s how you can help: 1.) Pick up an orange box during the meeting or from an officer 2.) Ask for spare change and donations when you trick-or-treat 3.) Turn in your box (with your name on it) as soon as possible!
