Welcome to Key Club! What is Key Club? -Student-led international service organization -Open to any GHS student -A way to make yourself stand out amongst other students

Why should I join? -Complete graduation requirement of 60 hours (and deal with less paperwork) -Make new friends at GHS, Division 26 Seattle, and beyond -Opportunities to attend events, camps, and conventions -Gain valuable leadership skills and be recognized for your work Have fun making a difference in your community!

MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, Welcome to the very first bulletin of the new Key Club year! Whether you’re a new or returning member or have no clue why you’re reading this bulletin, I hope you really do take this club and all of its potential benefits into consideration. If you have any questions about this club, you can always ask me or another officer. Please don’t be shy; we are here to serve all of YOU. Key Club is truly a vibrant community that you will not regret joining—bring a friend (or two), because the more, the merrier! -Reanne Wong

TEAM READ RECRUITMENT September 5th, 12th, 17th Leader: Jessic Lee | Time: Lunchtime Location: Garfield High School Commons Assist in recruiting tutors by passing out applications and introducing potential tutors to the Team Read program.

LIGHT THE NIGHT September 28th (Saturday) Time: 6:30pm-9:00pm or 7:00pm-10:00pm Location: Green Lake Park This walk helps to raise money for Leukemia research. Flashlight Patrol (6:30pm-9:00pm): Help light the path at darker areas of the walk and check that everyone is doing well (12 people) Clean Up (7:00pm-10:00pm): Help us pack up our equipment and make sure we leave the event site clean. (15 people)
