Smoking in any amounts has a very harmful effect on your bone density. The people who smoke are more into habit of drinking than non-smokers and the people who drink, smoke more in comparison to nondrinkers. There is no doubt in this limiting yourself in both habits is quite difficult, but it’s really necessary. People with these habits are advised to limit yourself as smoking and excessive drinking decreases bone density and often results in osteoporosis

It’s still not clear that how liquor affects bone, but it seems to interfere most with bone formation. Smoking and excessive alcohol has various harmful health effects for any person, but the particular harmful effect for a persons is risk for osteoporosis. We know it’s difficult for many individuals to quit smoking and limit their drinking but it’s really important to prevent the risk of osteoporosis.
