Father’s Day is the traditional time to celebrate with your family and let Dad know how much he means to us! But this year my girls are going to be out of town on Father’s Day, and my son is working at a Boy Scout fundraiser all day. So we decided to have our celebration a week early this year, and have a cookout with some grilled Tyson Buffalo Style Chicken Wings.
I was able to sample the Chicken Wings at Sam’s Club, since Tyson was having a demo that day. It is always fun to snack as you shop! I knew my husband would love the spiciness of the wings, and I love not having to do much preparation except heat the grill. Quick and easy meals are always my favorite.

5 Ways to Surprise Your Husband For Father’s Day I started thinking long and hard about what I was going to do for my husband for Father’s Day. I am getting him a watch, but I want to DO something for him too! He works so hard to provide for our family, and he’s so good at what he does. Unfortunately, he has to work on Father’s Day, so we had to celebrate a little early. I knew I had to think fast so I came up with a list of five things I knew The Workaholic would appreciate; and I did them for him. This list is full of (mostly) free things that would make your husband glad that he chose you to be his life partner. These wings are crazy easy to cook because, um...they’re already cooked. You are simply responsible for warming them up, however you please; which means that it’s impossible to mess them up. You don’t have to worry about your hubby biting into a raw piece of chicken, because it’s pre-cooked and frozen. Even better? You put them on the grill straight out of the freezer, completely frozen. I know – cool, right? (Knee-slapping pun intended) The convenience just can’t be beat.

EPIC Chicken Nugget Cupcakes Baby girl loves going to the movies and we can make a fun night out of it. This movie, EPIC, looks really fun. Besides the movie choice, meals and snacks are the second most important thing that would make an outing a success. It may sound easy but it’s not easy with a picky eater. A sure thing for any picky eater is chicken tenders or chicken nuggets. Ever since baby girl was a kid, we had trouble getting her to eat. Chicken tenders, nuggets and fries, were about all she ate. Veggies are not so easy to sneak in there. For this reason, I know that she will eat any meal with nuggets. I asked her how we can get fun and creative with chicken nuggets and she decided to mess with me. She giggled and said “cupcakes!” I called her bluff and said that I will make chicken nugget cupcakes. She looked horrified of the thought of sweet cupcakes with chicken. Muahaha…she had no idea!

Fun With Food Since spring isn’t here yet, I decided to make my own spring by creating fun food art for kids. For me, getting creative blows off some of the winter blues. I wanted to try to create reminders of spring using Tyson chicken nuggets and other food items. I’m using chicken nuggets because kids love them and I hope parents and kids are inspired to play with their food and make art that makes them think of spring. Back at home I gathered up everything I thought I might use to make some fun food art. By the way, this is a great way to encourage your child’s creativity. Just give them a variety of items and ask them to make you a picture. I had a lot of fun creating art with food. I’d love to hear your food art ideas. What reminds you of spring that you could create with chicken nuggets?

Meals Together
Creating Family Memories With Spring Break officially in full swing at our house now, I’m all about fixing meals that almost cook themselves so I can hang out with the kids and create as many memories as possible. Last night was no exception and BBQ was on the menu, but it was also a “dinner in a hurry” kind of night! I fired up the pit to reheat our Silver Spur Smoked Chicken, popped a few baked potatoes in the oven and whipped up my dad’s family BBQ recipe and let dinner cook itself! In no time, I had the perfect food pairing for the whole family to enjoy…a delicious BBQ Chicken Baked Potato! I was amazed at how juicy and flavorful the precooked Silver Spur Chicken tasted. It has a wonderful smoked flavor and tastes like it has been basting in the smoker for hours when in all actuality it has only been 30 minutes to the perfectly smoked chicken…that’s definitely a bonus for me!! Within an hour, dinner was done and we were creating a family meal memory together with friends! And that,my friends, is how we take our families BBQ tradition and put a happy twist on it! :)

Finding a Balance at Dinner It’s a sunny afternoon in northern Nevada, and I’m sitting on the patio in a lounge chair. I’m totally dreaming! I have a million things to do before 6:00. Run to Sam’s Club, feed my family a healthy dinner, talk to Eli about our weekend movie plans to see EPIC the movie and invite friends, and get him to scouts on time. I CAN DO THIS…I CAN DO THIS! So…you guys know that I’m not a brilliant chef in the kitchen. But, I do want to make sure my kiddos are eating healthy and actually eating some vegetables. Thus, I’m always on the quest to make their meals fun. Here’s what I came up with for dinner tonight: • Any cute or extraordinary cup or bowl (the more fun…the better) • 100% Natural Tyson Chicken Nuggets • 1 can of Del Monte Green Beans • 1 banana sliced (or any fruit that you have on hand) This is one healthy, FAST, and fun dinner to get your kiddos eating with a smile on their faces!

Easy Family Meal Ideas We all love movies and the kids have seen the trailers and are very excited to see Epic The Movie, (from the creators of ICE AGE and RIO) coming out this weekend. Epic is an environmental story of good vs. evil. I’ve made plans to surprise them and we will all go see the movie on Friday night. With such a busy schedule, I often rely on food from the freezer to help me put together quick and easy meals that everyone will enjoy. (A kid can only eat so many bean and cheese quesadillas.) While on my last trip to Sam’s Club, they were having a demo for Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Del Monte green beans. We had a quick sample, (gotta love Sam’s club and all the demos and free samples they have on the weekends) and I added both to my basket.

Tyson, Football, and Mardi Gras On Saturday, the babies and I headed to Sam’s Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips with KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce Club to pick up some party supplies. We traveled and Ketchup for dipping. just a bit farther than normal towards Houston That was it! The whole spread only took me about because I found out that the folks at Tyson were an hour, which included prep, cooking, and set hosting a meet and greet with Houston Oiler’s up. The secret to any quick meal lies in the meat legend, Ray Childress, and I wanted Bubby to meet preparation. I love the Tyson line because they him. When we arrived at the store, it was pretty offer so many precooked items that all you have easy to find the demo for more reasons than one: to do is heat and serve, and it only takes minutes. 1) Bug immediately smelled the chicken, 2) I spotted the crowd, and 3) Ray Childress is quite honestly taller than most people when he’s sitting down. Because it was the big game day and Mardi Gras, I decided to combine the two to make it fun and festive. I kept it as easy as possible with simple foods and simple decorations. I enjoy my family time way too much to be tied up in the kitchen all day!

My teen and I had come up with an easy and fun meal idea that brought together bits of our favorite things. My kids love Tyson Chicken Nuggets, my husband and I love Feta Cheese and we all love Del Monte Green Beans. At first we were thinking of making pita pockets Greek style, but my Tot would make a huge mess out of those, so it was that we landed on the idea of a Slider (or small sandwich). Teen was whipping up some Feta with Sour Cream in the kitchen while I went to check out some information on the EPIC movie! That just got me really excited, they have some awesome trailers! The nuggets were cooking away. They only take 15 minutes, so this meal honestly takes no time at all. My Teen put together some green beans with softened radishes for me. I love the taste as I grew up with green beans and onions and radishes have a high source of Vitamin C and Potassium!

EPIC the Movie Weekend with Tyson Chicken Nugget Parmesan It’s not a common occurrence that a movie is released and every single one of us gets excited about. After learning about EPIC The Movie we where enthralled to check it out. I love that it has a focus for the pre-teen age, but still has the ability to capture the younger ones. My oldest put the trailer on for us and we where excited that the movie captured all of our interest. To get our evening started I whipped up another of my healthy meal solutions – the EPIC Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Del Monte Green Beans meal from my Sam’s Club purchase last week. The Tyson Chicken Nuggets are an easy way to get our protein fix. We all agree these 100% natural nuggets are our favorite.

Quick and Easy Rosemary Potatoes With Tyson Crispy Bites This weekend, we had the privilege of trying the new Tyson Crispy Bites chicken. I was so impressed with how tasty our dinner turned out, despite its simplicity. I made my favorite quick

with them, and they made a wholesome, quick dinner that I felt good about feeding my family. I served my Tyson Crispy Bites with honey and barbecue sauce, and a side of rosemary potatoes. Here’s how I make them – they are sooo easy!

Delicious Summer Salad I am trying to eat healthier. That isn’t always something easy to do. I realize that I am making excuses, but it is usually time consuming and bland, not to mention too much work… One of my favorite salads is “Summer Salad. ” I LOVE it! My mom used to make it and I make it at least once a year, but it usually goes with another meal, as a side ya know? However, Tyson Foods just came out with some new Crispy Chicken Bites! You can get them at Sam’s Club, and they should even be doing demos this month so you can try them before you buy! I don’t even want to tell you how many times I have purchased something that wasn’t on my list, but because they were having free samples, I tried the product and liked it; so I bought some. Bravo to the marketing team at Sam’s Club! I took one look at these chicken bites and realized that they would be the perfect addition to my already amazing salad.

Crispy Chicken Sandwich Recipe Family meals are incredibly important. So is being able to make a chicken sandwich in your hotel room (with a toaster oven) for your entire family of seven. Yeah. We did it. Actually, creating a chicken sandwich recipe that your family will love is easier than you might think. That is, it’s easy when you’re using restaurant quality Tyson Crispy Chicken Breast Bites for the chicken portion of the sandwich. I used a toaster oven to cook the chicken breast bites, but all you need to do to cook the chicken is to follow the instructions right on the package. Once your chicken bites are in the oven, you can get started on preparing the ingredients that will go inside the sandwich. My family truly loved the crispy chicken breast bites, and I love that I was able to make a family meal in little time that was satisfying and left them asking for more the next day.

EPIC Meals Together Do you ever have days when you just don’t feel like cooking? I do. I’m exhausted, I’ve been rushing all day, and you know the drill. Even when I don’t feel like cooking, I want my family to have a healthy meal. I just want it to be quick and easy. I was at Sam’s Club last weekend, attempting to plan my family meals, when I came across a demo for Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Del Monte Green Beans. They smelled so good and I was hungry. I know to never shop when I am hungry but I stopped for a sample. Sherry, the friendly demo lady, and I chatted for a bit. I found myself talking about healthy meal solutions for time-crunched days. She told me Tyson Chicken nuggets are 100% natural and, judging from all the kids crowding around the demo with their parents waiting for their sample, a kid pleaser as well. I know my kids certainly enjoy them!

Summer Grilling for Father’s Day My Husband is absolutely obsessed with Tyson Buffalo Style Chicken Wings. And the hotter the better! So I decided he was going to get a special dinner of buffalo wings just for him. Why not utilize Tyson and their Buffalo Style Chicken Wings? They are Wholesome, practical, lively, active, fresh, and fun. They are the perfect item to serve on the grill. I wanted everything to be to his specifications. I asked him “What goes well with Buffalo Wings?” His response? “More Buffalo Wings!” Ha! Seriously, it took forever for him to decide on something he’d like with the buffalo wings. All he could think about were those wings! But finally, with some help from his engineering study group (who are all super jealous of him this week) they brain stormed that they’d love Jalapeno poppers, Mozzarella Sticks, marinara sauce and grilled corn on the cob. Plus a deluxe Dark Chocolate brownie for dessert. We enjoyed a nice family dinner in camping chairs in the back yard, as it was so hot in the house today. It was a nice relaxing meal that everyone enjoyed. And the husband felt so spoiled! A special meal of his favorites just for him! What guy wouldn’t love this for Father’s Day? And guess what? I did all the grilling. So he didn’t have to do any work! He just got to take that time and play with the kids! He loved our special Early Father’s Day Meals Together celebration.

Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Del Monte Green Beans Partnered With EPIC The Movie! We are a big family, with kids of all ages, so we enjoy attending movies that we can all enjoy. EPIC The Movie is a 3D CG film, and comes from the same people that brought us ICE AGE and RIO. Both films are in heavy rotation in our home, mainly for the little ones. But they’re such great movies that we enjoy them too, the songs and the characters, and there’s always those little things you catch that you may not have noticed the last few times you watched it. With a family like ours, everything we watch is family oriented so you can imagine our excitement to see EPIC The Movie! Last weekend we went on a shopping trip to Sam’s Club to pick up a few things in preparation for this evenings plans. While we were at Sam’s Club, they had quite a few store demo’s since it was the lunch hour on a weekend. The kids had fun trying the various samples, but while we were walking through the frozen food aisle in search of something quick and healthy that would be filling for everyone while we are at the movies, the kids stopped me at the Tyson Chicken Nuggets display. Now you all know I love Tyson Chicken and all of their products. This particular display had Tyson Chicken Nuggets paired with Del Monte Green Beans. The pairing provides a full meal solution that includes protein and veggies. The kids shouted “Chicken Nuggets!”, so of course we had to get a sample!
