Aqua Engineering Goals & Objectives Aqua Engineering has determined that it is time to give their company image a facelift. The company’s branding needs to be revamped to reflect a sharper, more modern persona. The new branding guidelines will be implemented and used as a guide for all future marketing materials. New brochures need to be created which will highlight the diversity of Aqua Engineerings service offerings. A new website shall be created which will further enhance the marketing efforts of the company, thus improving their ability to reach prospective clients. The site’s main objective would be to provide information on Aqua Engineering and update visitors with current projects. Finally, to round out the new branding efforts, a standardized proposal will be created to streamline the bidding process.
Market Analysis Phase 1: To begin this process it is advised that the company undergo a thorough marketing analysis. This will be accomplished through a series of questions and answers, which will be organized into a comprehensive report to be delivered to Aqua Engineering. Completion of the Marketing Analysis will set the framework for the other aspects of this project.
Branding Guidelines Phase 2: The next step in this process is to establish a firm set of branding guidelines. A company color palette will be created, standard fonts will be selected, and proper logo usage will be outlined. The new branding guidelines will be published in a report, for use by Aqua Engineering. Adherence to these guidelines will aide in the process of creating cohesive marketing materials in print and online.
Brochures Phase 3: Upon completion of the branding guidelines, the newly determined strategies will influence and drive the creation of several new brochures. Four new brochures will be designed to attract potential clients. These brochures will be a cohesive set of materials that not only tell the story of Aqua Engineering and its service offerings, but also reflect the company’s new brand. Persnickety Graphic Design will create the messaging, with direction from Aqua Engineering.
Web Design Phase 4: The current Aqua Engineering website will be updated. Using the design from the brochures as inspiration, the new website will have clear and intuitive navigation, fresh, reader-friendly copy, and carefully selected photographs to enhance the visitors’ online experience. The “contact us” section of the website will include a form to collect data from visitors. The contact information entered in this form will be gathered in a database, accessible by Aqua Engineering. Persnickety Graphic Design will create the messaging, with direction from Aqua Engineering. Working closely with Aqua Engineering the website will be designed to elevate the company’s online presence. The following pages will be included in the site: • Splash Introduction Page • Home Page • Our Team • Services • Clients • Projects • Industry Partners • Contact
Web Development Phase 5: During this phase of the project the new design will come to life as it is coded and implemented. A database will be created to house the information from the “contact us form. It is preferred that the new site be hosted online at Network Solutions. If another hosting provider is preferred we will need to make sure that the framework is adequate to host the new site.
Sales Proposals Phase 6: The Aqua Engineering sales proposals will also benefit from the new branding strategy. Templates will be created (using Adobe Creative Suite) to aid in the proposal process. The templates will be completely customizable to ensure that Aqua Engineering is still able to create unique proposals, designed for each prospective client.
