Evaluation of photograph I chose to evaluate these photographs because it portrays the original picture and the picture I have edited. Andrea Jones has inspired me because she has also taken up close photographs of flowers and plants. My intention wen taking these photographs was to capture the flower in focus, and the background out of focus. I did not have to use props to take this photograph as the subject is natural. I took the photograph in an up close view to capture as little background as possible, as Andrea Jones has in her photographs.
Evaluation My intention when taking my photographs was to
capture a similar subject to Andrea Jones’ photographs. I was inspired by Andrea Jones’ work because it is eye-catching and very colourful. The strengths in my photographs are the fact that they are in focus and capture a lot of colour. If I could change anything about my photographs I would take them closer to the flower, like Andrea Jones has. I am happy with my presentation as it portrays my attempt at doing work similar to Andrea Jones’.
