BRAND STORY Matters is a mid range ready-to-wear fashion brand founded in 2014. Our design aesthetic is a combination of experimental textures, bulky silhouettes that bring together a balance between comfort and style. We bring a visceral and innovative approach to women’s wear that encapsulates individuality. Matters strives towards creating pieces that reflect our belief of not inhibiting creativity whilst retaining whats most important : funtionality.

ABOUT COLLECTION An alternative perspective of the process of hibernation, this collection explores hibernation in relation to the human sleep cycle. Conveying the emotional and physical traits of the sleep process chronologically throughout the collection. This collection drew inspiration from the body temperature, movement and brain activity during sleep.The usage of thick fabrics, knits and fur was intentionally executed to cater to unique and interchangable looks.
