The Record-Journal Publishing Company The more qualified applicant will have played an active role in some aspect of journalism during his/her high school years and will be tentatively planning a career in some aspect of journalism. 1. Complete this application as fully and accurately as you can. 2. Attach a photograph (about 2x3) of yourself. 3. Have your guidance department submit your grade transcripts. 4. Submit two letters of recommendation, one from a teacher and one from a person other than a teacher or relative. 5. Submit an essay detailed within the application, item #17. 6. Submit the Financial Aid Form (FAF) and any notification received, item #22. All data received will be treated as confidential by the Committee.
