ACES selects Teacher of Year Area Cooperative Educational Services held their 2021 Teacher of the Year & Executive Director’s Recognition Award ceremony in June at the ACES Leeder Hill campus in Hamden. Eighteen nominees and 14 award recipients were recognized for their outstanding commitment to and work with ACES students, families, and the broader community. The award ceremony culminated in the recognition of
the Teacher of the Year Award, which went to Sharee Baskin, a third grade teacher at ACES Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School in North Haven. The Teacher of the Year Award identifies one teacher among many outstanding educators to serve as a visible, physical and vocal representative of what is best in the teaching profession.
