Superintendent receives 2% raise, contract extension At its June 14 meeting, the Board of Education voted to extend Superintendent Steven LePage's contract to 2024, and to award him a 2 percent increase for the 2021-22 school year. When it came to the raise, board member Nicole Palmieri was the lone no vote.

At the June 14 Plainville Board of Education meeting, the BOE recognized Logoyke and the other retiring members of the school community. Renaming of library room gets approval

Logoyke, other retiring school employees honored The Louis Toffolon Elementary School community celebrated "Mrs. Logoyke Day" on June 8, in honor of Principal Lynn Logoyke, who retired at the end of June. Toffolon students participated in a parade and even shared retirement advice with Logoyke.

She made the following statement: “I have had a really hard time with this, honestly, and have gone back and forth on whether or not to vote on the superintendent's raise. My feelings say to vote for it, but I wasn’t elected for my feelings. I was elected to look at
