PHS singers are thrilled to perform again A select group of juniors and seniors from the Plainville High School choirs gathered at the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington Dec. 4 to sing carols. “We were excited to be invited to sing at the Hill-Stead Museum’s Holiday Boutique. This was our first public performance since the COVID situation started nearly two years ago,” said PHS choir director Todd Helming. Students performed a number of tunes, including Jingle

Bells, Deck the Halls and Sleigh Ride. “This is the closest we’ve felt to normal in choir in a long time,” PHS singer Claudia Mizerek said. Fellow senior Dakota Dinielli added, “It is so exciting to be able to sing these songs live!” Helming said the PHS choirs learned to sing safely during COVID and are happy to be performing again.
