Affidavit The undersigned affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says :
1. The undersigned, Detective Jon Femia #440, being duly sworn does depose and state that he is a member of the Meriden Police Department. Furthermore, that he has been a full time or reserve member of said department since October 2000,and at all times mentioned herein was acting as a member of said department, and also the following facts and circumstances are stated from personal knowledge and observations as well as information received from other officers acting in their official capacities, or other persons or sources of information. 2. On 08/18/2019, Meriden Police responded to a missing persons complaint r e g a r d i n g • · • • • ~ -.remains were found on 08/21/2019 at Baystate Textiles in Waterbury, CT. Her death has since been ~ a homicide. The investigation into her death is ongoing and her boyfriend, Jason Watson, is suspected of involvement in her death. 3. As part of the homicide investigation, Meriden Police learned that Jason Watson had reportedly pushed Victim #1, a previous girlfriend, from a moving car causing Victim #1 a serious leg injury. Victim #1 has a minor female child with Jason Watson, Juvenile #1 and at times lived together with him in Meriden, CT. 4. On 01/10/2020, I spoke by phone with Victim #1 who said that she was willing to meet with me and speak about her relationship with Jason Watson. Victim #1 specifically told me that on 07/27/2017, Jason Watson threw her out of a moving car on I-691 in Meriden. Victim # 1 reported that when State Police responded she was not cooperative and told them someone else had thrown her out of the car. 5. I then contacted Connecticut State Police Troop I and obtained a copy of the CSP police report for this incident, filed under CSP Case# CFS 1700394596. 6. I reviewed the report. On 07/27/2017, at about 1747 hours, Trooper Ross Kuchyt #728 was dispatched to the area of exit 10 on I-691 East on a report of a person who fell from a moving motor vehicle. Trooper Kuchyt found Victim #I sitting on the right shoulder of the highway with several abrasions to her arms and legs. 7. Trooper Kuchyt also located witnesses and took two sworn written statements about what they observed. 8. Doreen Scrivener provided a sworn written statement to Trooper Kuchyt that her vehicle was broken down ( Th,s is page 1 of a 4 age Affidavit.)
