Zine Workshop for Adults

Come learn the art and history of making and distributing mini magazines (zines) at this free event. There will be hands on instruction and all supplies are provided by the Friends of the Richland Public Library. Ages 18+. Register at Eventbrite starting March 21. This group meets monthly to learn how to knit, crochet, and make other fun yarn crafts! We will start the program by demonstrating a new skill or craft, and finish with free time for the kids to keep practicing or work on their own project.

Take Your Child to the Library Day

February 5th is the 11th annual “Take Your Child to the Library Day!” Drop in any time to enjoy activities for kids. We will have construction and other STEAM toys, coloring sheets and maybe even some simple crafts to make and take home. Supported by the Friends of the Richland Library. Singing Strings Ukulele Club

Singing Strings Ukulele Jam Session - Jam sessions will be the first and third Tuesday of each month in the STEAMspace. High School Books to Movies Club

Read or listen to each month's selection at home, then join us at the library to watch the movie and discuss the differences. Did they get your favorite character's look just right? Does the bad guy sound way different than you imagined? Can you believe they left out that one scene where that wild thing happened? Participants will choose the book and movie for the next month. Ages 13+. Preregistration is required on Eventbrite.
