Given its visual relationship with the town centre and its proximity to the river Couze, site 3 is the starting point for the route linking the Marchidial, a viewpoint over the city, and the lower town. The study of this site thus allows a beginning of requalification of Champeix by the means of the buildings.

Topographic profile of the ascension
As for site 4, it offers a permeability and allows a first contact with the path leading to the Marchidial. At the intersection with the rue des Horts, it remains the only site on the rue des Moulins with a porosity that can be the subject of a requalification work.

Once on the rue du Fort, the 7th and last site orients the itinerary and offers a variety of paths for the ascension of the Marchidial. In the heart of the pedestrian streets of Champeix and far from cars and city noise, this site marks a stop and a break and is a first entry point for the Marchidial.

The intervention is part of a work of requalification and the creation of a strong link between the Marchidial and the lower town. Not only by means of the buildings housing housing, but also by the development of public spaces and the establishment of micro-environmental squares at the scale of Champeix.

The mixed-use complex is the fruit of a site analysis addressing the height of the buildings, the transport lines and stops on the major axes, and the existence of parking spaces.

This analysis allowed us to conclude that the site is characterized by a lack of homogeneity, with large traffic lanes with high traffic flows and several public transport stops, but no parking spaces. In order to respond to these dysfunctions, the building was placed along Avenida del Libertador to create a green space that allows the building to distance itself from the large flows of this axis.

The building is an object architecture, composed of an urban base with shops, a shopping centre and student accom- modation. On this base stands a 30-storey tower with a hotel and offices. In the basement, two parking levels respond to the parking shortage. The morphology of the building allows the creation of several public spaces with different qualities, views and environ- ments.

A cemetery is a space of meditation, a place that speaks directly to the emotions. Our wish was to create a space, where the design of the place would create a serene atmosphere. We have aligned the building on the edge of the site, on which a long wall
leading to the entrance. The wall turns over to create a sheltered space that houses the columbariums and creates a monumental porch. The shape of the meditation room, with its gradation of light on the ceiling, is the result of several
morphological experiments. The selected curve creates a dynamism in the architecture. The project allows each person, whatever their personal belief, to be in a soothing place favourable to meditation.

This project is a car relay building with a capacity of 400 parking spaces. It represents a bridge between the flow of private cars and the access to soft modes of transport and public transport.

The project is located along Jules Verne Street and St-Jean Boulevard. The site is witness to the process of peri-urbanization and transformation of the territory towards an urban, mixed and dense metropolitan area.

The implantation of the building results from lines of force drawn from the site, in particular from the left side of the Clermont-Ferrand, part of which is undergoing major changes.
A fluid continuum is drawn to accompany passers-by to the Galerie Nacarat as we pass through a commercial street. The parking is interconnected with the other programs and creates
encounter between the users and the people who work in the area. This project represents one of the first gestures in the evolution of the neighborhood.

In this school project I used my own memories to think about the hierarchy of spaces and their distribution. Each piece of the program was the subject of a questioning that led me to the formal result. I worked in accordance with the already there. Part of the site becomes a public space that recalls the history of the site. This space is a cushion space, which merges with the city and marks our point of entry. On the ground floor, there are only two massive concrete blocks that anchor the project in its site and support a metal structure. The bleachers accentuate the horizontality of the project. We opted for an infrastructural architecture for its simplicity and ease of execution.
