FOREWORD
George F. Middleton
Welcome to the Bahrain Education & Personal Development Guide 2019, the most comprehensive source of information on everything educational in the Kingdom. This handy pocket-sized guide offers carefully researched listings on private and public schools, including kindergartens, universities, colleges, specialist institutes, learning centres and related services throughout Bahrain. Information is also available and regularly updated on the website bahraineducationguide.com Bahrain is fortunate to be well served with internationalstandard educational institutions available at all levels. For children across all age groups there is a greater range of options available than ever before. Every requirement from special developmental needs to instruction in a child’s mother tongue can be met There is also a huge variety of out-of-school activities available, from dance to football, some offered in specialist centres, others available through the schools themselves. The days of leaving the island when it comes time to enter further and higher education are past, since the Kingdom also now offers an ever-increasing range of universities and further education options. Many are internationally accredited or tied in with overseas counterparts offering a huge range of degrees in career-specific subjects such as medicine and law as well as more broadly-based topics including management, construction and the sciences. For those who want to cultivate a particular talent there are centres for technology, arts, music, science and languages, to name but a few. To ensure ease of use, the extensive schools section is laid out in alphabetical order and age group across both private and public sectors while other listings include subject-specific sections. To help parents and students make their choices we’ve also included contact telephone numbers and websites. With a long history of ethnic and cultural diversity, Bahrain is widely known as a unique melting pot where people from dozens of nations peacefully co-exist. There is no greater illustration of this than in its educational institutions where children and young people, Bahraini and expat, learn together in an atmosphere of acceptance and co-operation. The Kingdom really does have education options suitable for all, though it may require a little research which is where this guide and bahraineducationguide.com come in. ■8

Excellent Educational Offerings
T
HERE is an old saying that your schooldays are the best days of your life and there is, indeed, no doubt that the impact of primary and secondary education cannot be highly enough stressed. The grounding helps to cultivate and develop children into useful and productive members of society and is also a basis for continued learning at college, university and beyond. Everyone wants the best for their children with education, quite rightly, high on the list of priorities. The school you choose can have far-reaching consequences for both a child’s happiness and their future development. With children entering education at a very early age, it is important that they feel secure and nurtured and the years they spend in the school system are crucial to building a strong foundation not only for their academic future but also for the longer term. The times when school days were all about the three Rs (reading, writing and arithmetic) are long gone. In today’s climate, education is about so much more than pure academics, from building friendships and character to keeping pupils up to date with the latest technology. Running abreast of the education side of school life, there is another crucial aspect to consider which is particularly relevant in a setting
with a large expat population. For ‘Third Culture’ children, those raised outside the culture of their parents’ homeland, the educational setting, friendships formed and extracurricular activities offered in school, go a long way towards helping them and their families form bonds both with their current home and their contemporaries which will stand them in good stead for the future. The school you eventually end up choosing needs to match not only your child’s personality and abilities but also to offer a first-class allround education alongside a fun and engaging learning environment. The Kingdom has a thriving public education system which is government regulated and runs alongside numerous internationally accredited private schools. From those catering to specific nationality and language groups to others which offer specialist curricula or special needs learning systems, 11
schools
virtually every educational need can be met. Al Dana Nursery takes students from 18 months to five years and aims to help develop the child’s physical, cognitive, creative, imaginative, artistic and other skills through play-oriented programmes, which motivate the young children for better learning success. Al Noor International School was founded in 1993 and has developed to offer three diverse curricula – British, Bahraini and CBSE – taught in well-equipped classrooms by staff using interactive educational methods. Its sister establishment, Noor Al Diyar Private School, was set up in September 2017 and, as well as respected early years provision, is now taking students right the way through to IGCSE, AS and A levels. The latest addition to the Kingdom’s offering, The Canadian School Bahrain, located in Diyar Al-Muharraq, is a not-for-profit, private international school offering the British Columbia (BC), Canada curriculum as well as courses from the Arabic Curriculum such as Arabic Language, Bahrain Social Studies and Citizenship and Islamic Studies. Established in 2000, Hawar International School provides a safe, segregated and stimulating learning environment for students of all ages from Nursery through Elementary, Middle and High School with a balanced educational
programme in both Arabic and English languages. Kumon Bahrain opened in 2000 and now has three branches, in Janabiya, Mahooz and Sanad. Its programmes are self-learning, rather than teacher-led, and aim to develop life skills such as independence and responsibility, through maths and English. Established in 1977, Nadeen School is well known for its childcentred, holistic approach to education. It is one of only two schools in Bahrain to be an accredited member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) and an accredited British School Overseas (BSO) school recognised by the British Department for Education. The British Preparatory School caters to 170 youngsters aged 18 months to six years offering British Curriculum learning to prepare pupils for entry to the island’s larger British schools. The British School of Bahrain has provided more than two decades of excellent education in the Kingdom and was rated ‘an outstanding school’ by Bahrain’s Quality Assurance Authority. As well as the numerous mainstream schools there are various institutes catering to those who have special education needs. The RIA Institute was established in 1999, with the mission of education for all. And Little Village Center is another facility providing specialist learning assistance. ■ 12

ADEEN School, established in 1977, is well known for its child-centred, holistic approach to education. It follows the English National Curriculum, is one of only two schools in Bahrain to be an accredited member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME), and is an accredited British School Overseas (BSO) school recognised by the British Department for Education. Nadeen School is also rated as Outstanding by Bahrain’s Qualifications and Quality Assurance (QQA.) The school’s mission statement that: “Since 1978 Nadeen School has been dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe, stimulating and encouraging environment in which children of all ages, nationalities, abilities and strengths can develop a lifelong love for exploration and learning,” and school motto of “Small School – Big Family” are infused through all facets of the establishment. Four hundred children aged two to 11 years are enrolled from PreNursery to Year 6 and the school is truly international with more than 50 nationalities represented within its population. The campus boasts four buildings, two playgrounds, beautiful garden areas, a school farm with chickens and ducks, an organic garden and interactive outdoor learning stations. Alongside the English National Curriculum its “8Cs” (confidence,
communication, collaboration, creativity, curiosity, commitment, craftsmanship and critical thinking) are the foundation of all teaching. The school believes that if children are equipped with these interrelated skills, they can learn anything and will be successful, lifelong learners. This philosophy ties together the curricula of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 as all children work on these same skills. Originality, expression and development of character are encouraged in all pupils. Students thrive academically, socially and emotionally under the staff ’s expert care. The faculty instills a love and excitement for learning in the children through dynamic and creative lessons. Staff members are dedicated to developing each child’s individual abilities to the fullest. Nadeen school sets high expectations for behaviour, conduct and communication, and the children are well-known for being eloquent, confident, and wellmannered. The immense progress and achievement they make ensures that they are well-equipped and ready for the next stage of the academic journey. The school also fosters a proactive and involved home-school relationship and parental participation is encouraged. Visit the school or see www. nadeenschool.com for more information. ■ 36

World-Class Education Built on Core Skills
T
HE Canadian School Bahrain, located in Diyar Al-Muharraq, is a not-for-profit, private international school offering the British Columbia (BC), Canada Curriculum as well as courses from the Arabic Curriculum such as Arabic Language, Bahrain Social Studies and Citizenship and Islamic Studies. The school is dedicated to developing students who are confident in their culture, empowering them to achieve academic excellence through nurturing moral values of integrity, responsibility, respect and courage. British Columbia’s education system is among the most respected in the world with outstanding teachers, skilled administrators, motivated and engaged students, committed parents and dedicated education partners. The curriculum brings together two features that most educators agree are essential for 21st-century learning: a concept-based approach to learning, and a focus on the development of competencies, to foster deeper, more transferable learning. This integrated curriculum will be taught by British Columbiacertified teachers working together with the Arabic-certified teachers.
British Columbia has become a favoured educational programme because: • It is ranked third globally among the best systems in the world. • It is ranked as the highest performing English language curriculum by the international Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). • Students from the BC Curriculum perform among the best in Canada and the world in national and international assessments. • The curriculum paves the way for high school students to successfully gain admission to post-secondary programmes in the US, Canada and across the globe. • Quality assurance and accountability measures are in place to ensure that British Columbia education consistently offers a quality learning experience 38
Canadian School Bahrain to all students. Essential learning, literacy and numeracy foundations and core competencies are the base of the new curriculum. All three contribute to deeper learning. Core Competencies The core competencies are the intellectual, personal and social skills that all students need to develop for success in life beyond school. BC has identified three core competencies as essential for all learners: • Communication • Creative and critical thinking • Positive personal and cultural identity and personal awareness and responsibility The core competencies are directly related to students becoming educated citizens.
21st-century learning: a conceptbased approach to learning, and a focus on the development of competencies, to foster deeper, more transferable learning. These approaches complement each other because of their common focus on the active engagement of students. Deeper learning is better achieved through “doing” than through passive listening or reading. Similarly, both concept-based learning and the development of competencies engage students in authentic tasks that connect learning to the real world. Susan Penner, The British Columbia Offshore School Representative, says: “The BC curriculum has been modernised to respond to this demanding world. To develop new models, the Ministry of Education consulted with experts both locally and internationally. They agree that to prepare students for the future, the curriculum must be student-centred and flexible, and maintain a focus on literacy and numeracy, while supporting deeper learning through concept-based and competency-driven approaches. “Additionally, every student will continue to be connected to the basics of reading, writing and maths. These critical skills are the foundation of BC’s education system and are a key component of developing an educated citizen.”
Literacy and Numeracy Foundations Literacy is the ability to understand, critically analyse and create a variety of forms of communication, including oral, written, visual, digital and multimedia, to accomplish one’s goals. Literacy helps students apply reading, writing, speaking and listening skills across a variety of subject areas. Numeracy is the ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts, processes and skills to solve problems and make decisions in a variety of situations, including real-life scenarios. Numeracy assessment looks at learning which has taken place throughout the student’s education, not only in mathematics but across various subjects. Literacy and numeracy are fundamental to all learning. While they are commonly associated with language learning and mathematics, literacy and numeracy are applied in all areas of learning.
2019-2020 Grades This year, the school will have classes from Nursery up to Grade 3 and will expand one new grade every year all the way up to high school.

Bahrain has always been ahead of its time in the region. That warm Bahraini welcome and appreciation for diversity and individuality is a spirit that pervades the BSB. Ensconced in magnificent facilities in Hamala, the school caters for more than 70 nationalities with 2,600-plus students. Student-staff relationships are particularly strong, with teachers

Preparing for the Future
B
ETWEEN automation, digitisation and globalisation of the workforce, it has been clear in recent years that young people are competing for fewer, more specialised jobs – or setting up their own businesses – and to get a foot on the career ladder, the right qualifications are not just an advantage but, rather, a necessity. In the coming years, the size of the Kingdom’s workforce is expected to double. More than 4,000 Bahrainis a year currently enter the job market with at least a college degree. There are also large numbers of expat students who have been born and educated in the Kingdom. Many students, both expat and Bahraini alike, choose to study overseas. But with the range of courses and qualifications available on the island, many of them run by or accredited to internationally recognised academic institutions, virtually

The range of universities is continually growing and we have seen several new additions either on the horizon or launched within the last year or so. The American University of Bahrain will open its doors at Riffa in September offering four-year undergraduate programmes and internationally-recognised degrees across the areas of management, finance, computer and industrial engineering and multimedia design.

Making a Mark
AVING opened its doors in September 2018, The British University of Bahrain (BUB) is currently busy preparing for its second major intake of students, which will be in September 2019. BUB is proving a popular choice for Bahraini students and the admissions team is currently working long hours to process the large number of applications being received! The success the institution has seen, according to BUB’s Vice President, Professor Keith Sharp, is attributable to three major factors. The first, and probably the most important in his view, is the fact that students studying at BUB gain a degree awarded by the University of Salford, Manchester. And not only is the degree awarded by Salford, but students will have studied exactly the same courses and have been assessed to exactly the same standards as those studying on the home campus in the UK. Professor Sharp explains: “This means that BUB graduates will be viewed by employers in exactly the same way as students who travelled to Salford to study, for the simple reason that their degree and the knowledge and skills which it represents is identical to that received by their UK counterparts. The degrees awarded to our students are not ‘British-
style’ degrees but real British degrees from an established and highly regarded British university.” A second reason for BUB’s popularity, according to Professor Sharp, is that the University of Salford programmes which BUB students study have been developed in close collaboration with their respective industries and every aspect, from the syllabus, the methods of learning and teaching used and even the ways in which students are assessed, have been designed to prepare students to the maximum extent possible for the world of work. Professor Sharp puts it like this: “Along with our colleagues in Salford, we want, and indeed expect, our graduates to be ‘work-ready’; not just in terms of the technical knowledge and skills they possess within their particular field, but in terms of their ability to solve problems, collaborate with and lead others, their ability to communicate 54
British University of Bahrain and, most important of all, to continue to learn and adapt throughout their working lives.” The third reason that BUB believes it has become a popular choice for the local residents on the island is that it provides both value for money and convenience for those students who understand the value of a degree from a leading British University but, for various reasons, prefer not to travel abroad. As Professor Sharp notes: “Studying in the UK is becoming more and more costly with the effect that international students are increasingly looking for alternative ways to obtain a British degree. This, coupled with uncertainties over Brexit and increasingly stringent rules governing student visas, means that the ability to gain a UK degree in the student’s own country, at a fraction of the total cost of studying in the UK, has become a very attractive option.” BUB is organised into three different colleges and currently offers nine undergraduate programmes. The College of Engineering and the Built Environment offers four programmes: BSc Civil Engineering, BSc Quantity Surveying, BSc Construction Project Management and BSc Property and Real Estate. The College of Information and Communications Technology offers two degrees: BSc Computer Networks and BSc Software Engineering. The College of Business offers three programmes: BSc Marketing, BSc Accounting
and Finance and BSc Business and Management. All of the academic courses were selected after a careful study of the labour market in Bahrain and the skill gaps already existing and likely to emerge in the coming years. BUB offers a number of scholarships based on merit, worth up to 25 per cent of the annual fees. Khurram Salman, recruitment and outreach officer at the institution explains: “BUB wants to attract the best and most committed students Bahrain has to offer. For this reason, we offer scholarships based on merit, including outstanding performance at the school level and, in the case of students transferring from other universities, their overall performance to date.” Commenting on the current recruitment cycle, Khurram adds: “Applications to BUB are coming in thick and fast. My advice to anyone thinking of applying for entry this year would be to do so as soon as possible so as to ensure your place is reserved.” BUB looks forward to preparing youngsters to enter the global workforce with the best technical and soft skills possible. ■

AMA International University Bahrain
AMAIUB: Our Mission, Your Success
E
DUCATORS have long considered on what it is to be an educated person, a successfully educated one. Some traditionalists view student success as getting high scores in standardised examinations, beating a competitor in a football or basketball match, or performing duplicative errands in the workplace. Some would delineate success as the ability of a student to accumulate material wealth, to be economically independent after getting a degree. On the other hand, others believe that the measure of one’s success is to be educated to be prepared to enter the workforce such that the knowledge and skills learned from the academic institution can be applied. AMA International UniversityBahrain (AMAIUB) has redefined student success as something beyond the acquisition of basic knowledge and skills, as reflected in its mission of producing graduates who are competent, professional and entrepreneurial who will contribute to both the Kingdom and the world’s socio-economic efficiency, equity and sustainability. Primarily, the AMAIUB carries out its mission to ensure the success of its students by providing them a strong foundation of practical knowledge and lifelong learning skills through its degree
programmes, namely: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics (BSBI) and Bachelor of Science in International Business (BSIB), which are accredited by the European Council for Business Education; and the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), Bachelor of Science in Informatics Engineering (BSIE) and Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering (BSME), which are all ABET-accredited. Moreover, AMAIUB concurs with Bahrain’s Higher Education Council’s directive to guarantee that higher education institutions work towards international standards and focus on having curricula that equip students with the skills that are required in the 21st century. Heeding the call of the Higher Education Council (HEC), AMAIUB submitted itself to 56
AMA International University Bahrain Institutional Accreditation (IA) in July 2018 under the rigorous scrutiny of the accreditors coming from the British Accreditation Council. Recently, the university reached another notable milestone by attaining the muchcoveted IA and achieving the quality seal of the HEC. Since it is now institutionally accredited, AMAIUB is opening its doors to students from across the GCC region and the world with the aim of producing more of the best skilled graduates of choice locally, regionally and globally. AMAIUB’s holistic, humanistic and student-centred delivery of education has undeniably paved the way for the success of its students and graduates. They epitomise the university’s mission of delivering relevant, innovative and quality education to fit-for-purpose students through its programmes which are committed to pursuing practical knowledge and skills, delivering curricula that are responsive to the socio-economic requirements of Bahrain and the region, and producing competent, professional, and entrepreneurial graduates imbued with lifelong learning skills and ethical values. They are now leaders of their own
lives, builders of their dreams and aspirations, and conscious members of the international milieu. They personify AMAIUB’s definition of successfully educated individuals who are active makers and shapers of the world. Do you also want to be successfully educated? Enrol in the internationally and institutionallyaccredited MBA, BSBI, BSIB, BSCS, BSIE, or BSME programmes of AMAIUB whose mission is your success. AMAIUB welcomes new and transferee students for the academic year 2019-2020. Registration is ongoing for the first term of the said academic year. ■

Expanding Opportunities
I
NITIAL qualifications from schools, colleges and universities are almost pre-requisites in the workplace these days. But employers also require their staff to keep up to date with the latest developments in their field and, in a highly competitive market, a programme at a specialised training institute not only adds value to your resume but also sets you apart. Training institutes and establishments provide a wide range of specialised courses targeted at those who are looking to progress their careers – many of them run in conjunction with specific industries and pledged to offer the types and levels of training those industries are seeking. Professional certificates bridge the gap between the knowledge gained at university and that needed to progress in the workplace and there are many institutes across the Kingdom aimed at developing virtually every commercial and practical skillset as well as plenty of hobby options. For those wishing to study specific languages, there are organisations such as Alliance Française and the British Council, which has a long history in Bahrain and conducts thousands of hours of language tuition throughout the year as well as cultural activities. Aldhaas Montessori International
(DMI) is a training institute for Montessori and early childhood education. It caters to the enhancement of teaching skills in the field of pre-primary schooling. The institute also offers parent education, continuing education workshops, community education and personalised development courses for teaching professionals. Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) covers a wide spectrum of subject matter, with over 300 different courses offered to the financial and corporate market. And the National Institute of Technology was set up to meet the Kingdom’s IT needs and is a pioneer in delivering the latest in Microsoft innovations. Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail is a private college committed to meeting the needs of the hospitality and tourism industry and in the airline industry BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre operates the most specialised aviation training centre in the region. For those whose interests lie in the field of sports, there are plenty of options available from horse riding and sailing lessons to coaching in netball, Gaelic football and rugby at Bahrain Rugby Football Club. Dance classes can be found at various venues across the island, such as Bahrain Ballet Centre. And the British School of Bahrain has numerous academies. ■ 60

The British Council
Cultural and Educational Opportunities
T
HE British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. British Council creates international opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries and builds trust between them worldwide. British Council has worked and engaged with the people of Bahrain for 80 years and has brought the two nations closer through both cultural and educational exchange. The organisation is widely recognised for the excellence of its English courses and has taught multiple generations of Bahrainis and expatriates. Its Teaching Centre attracts more than 6,500 students annually, with over 19,000 class hours taught to the highest standard. The British Council in Bahrain has also been recognised with the Child Safety Award and continues its efforts in maintaining the facility and curriculum to the highest quality. British Council is also a trusted distributer of a variety of globally recognised exams, including IELTS, IGCSE, and Cambridge Admissions tests with more than 12,000 students taking a variety of English school, university and professional exams. It offers a range of teaching qualifications for both those with little or no experience and those who want to improve their effectiveness.
And it recently introduced the option to take the IELTS exam by computer – which means greater convenience and ease for students. By taking the test on a computer at the British Council’s centre, testtakers will get more flexibility, more test dates to choose from and results are available in just five to seven days. On the cultural front, British Council is involved in arts, sports, science, skills development and higher education. It delivered more than 55 activities in 2018, engaging 13 higher education institutes that included 4,000 parents and students as well as 436 teachers. Team members collaborated with more than 200 researchers and have captured an online audience of over 188,000 people. Staff have also worked with multiple ministries in order to give amazing opportunities for growth and improvement to as many people as possible. British Council is once again opening its doors to welcome thousands of children and adults onto its English courses, designed to boost language skills with new and innovative teaching products. This year it has also introduced a monthly installment scheme with auto payment options which will ensure that students can continue their uninterrupted journey to learn English. Continued Learning
T
HOUGH classroom education has long been recognised as one of the most effective ways of gaining knowledge, parents and employers are increasingly recognising the efficacy of lifebased learning in making information stick. Though educational resources are many and varied, the style of instruction used in learning centres is often different from that found in traditional academic institutions. Courses are often interactive featuring professional demonstrations as well as tutoring and online study. Learning centres usually focus on a few core services and their purpose is to supplement, rather than compete with, existing educational providers. They may offer professional qualifications, such as training to allow practice in a specific field, but may also provide courses and programmes simply for enjoyment or furtherment of an interest or hobby such as art or sport. For example, language centres may use simulations and coaching through which students experience day-to-day, real life situations and conversations immersively using the language they’re seeking to
master. There are also various national associations which offer language tuition as well as the chance to experience other cultures and social activities. Sporting organisations such as Bahrain Rugby Football Club and JC’s Tennis Academy offer intensive training which can give youngsters and adults a great grounding in their chosen field and also offer exposure to international experiences and competition. The island also has a good range of music and dance options such as Bahrain Ballet Centre and Ballare School of Performing Arts, whose students gain invaluable experience with appearances in regular public performances, and Room 2 Rock which offers practice and recording space for musicians as well as a range of lessons. Bahrain Music Institute also has a great range of classes from classical to contemporary and some of the schools have specialised arts academies. From beauty and fashion to academic subjects and sports to training centres which actually train the trainers, the range in this field is huge and Bahrain is well served by professional institutions to meet just about any requirement. ■73

Backstage Performers
HEN we think of study or learning, we automatically conjure up classrooms and books or practical sessions in the lab. But, behind these frontline services a whole range of independent stores and services assist in contributing significantly to keeping our educational institutions running smoothly. From playgroups, which get little ones used to the idea of structured learning, to educational advisors who can offer objective information on which university to choose, these backstage performers are every bit as crucial as the schools and colleges they serve. These include the likes of digital system suppliers as well as those, such as Arencon Security Establishment, which provides security systems to keep pupils safe at school. Arts and craft shops like Things To Do assist in providing supplies for creative, extracurricular projects, whereas distinctive uniforms are offered by retail outlets like House of Uniforms. Writing materials and office supplies are of utmost importance in the learning process, provided by a plethora of stationery stores offering an array of supplies. Books, too, are an important tool in the learning process, and local bookstores are a great source for
reference guides, textbooks, novels and self-help books to aid children, tutors, professionals and college students. From The Bookcase to Jashanmal, the island is well served. Team sports and exercise are the most effective way to combat the biggest epidemic facing the country – obesity in young children. Aside from the calories burnt, they have social, emotional and physical benefits. The island offers plenty of options for sports enthusiasts. There are academies that support football, basketball, cricket, tennis, golf, gymnastics and other sports as well as stores supplying just about every kind of necessary equipment. Financial security is imperative in order to secure the future education of your children. A school fees insurance policy has become an attractive scheme for those seeking to guard against the cost of future education provision. Several banks offer loans and insurance plans to support education at all levels and some offer a dedicated professional who helps you choose the right package, depending on your needs and anticipating those of your children. Whatever your needs, the Kingdom offers a host of choices ranging from shops for school uniforms and stationery supplies to fees securing schemes or a play group for your child. ■78

The company offers a full turnkey contracting package tailored to the customer’s specific requirements. Sound advice and design assistance is offered to endusers where necessary. Arencon also acts as a subcontractor on civil construction projects, taking responsibility for engineering the design provided by the consultant and implementing the security installations in collaboration with the main contractor. As a contractor rather than merely an
equipment vendor’s agent, Arencon endeavours to supply the equipment which is most suitable to achieve the desired end result. The organisation is led by general manager Richard Monkhouse, who boasts an impressive education and vast experience in this field. In his career, he has lent his expertise to successful multimillion-dollar projects that have used the latest available technology in security systems. Arencon is the sole agent in the Kingdom for Chubb Electronic Security, one of the largest names in the business, worldwide. Other renowned brands that Arencon represents are Remsdaq, Synectic Systems, Newgate (Newark) Ltd, and Gunnebo Entrance Control, amongst others. Arencon’s clients include Bahrain’s government bodies, VVIP individuals, private residences, as well as big-name corporates such as Arab Banking Corporation, DHL, Gulf Aluminum Rolling Mill Co, Bahrain Airport Services, Bahrain Convention & Exhibitions Bureau, Arab Financial Services and Seef Properties, to name a few.
