MUSICIAN BIOS Jon Campbell is excited to be back in the Discovery Theatre with his wife Kristen. Jon is a rocker at heart, starting his first band in high school and now singing lead for The Black Jacket Symphony across the country. Jon performs around Alabama with his band The Negotiators and the Emerald Empire Band. When not on stage, he works full-time as the CTO of MCM Technology. Jon is a self-proclaimed renaissance man as a songwriter, chef, craftsman and connoisseur of craft beer. Kristen Campbell got her start in the Red Mountain Theatre youth programs and started her professional theatre career at 17 in the first national tour of Parade with Broadway legend Harold Prince. She also toured as Liesl in The Sound of Music. Kristen has travelled and performed across the country with some of Broadway’s best but none compare to the experiences Red Mountain has gifted to her while being able to build a home with her husband and homeschool her now 14-year-old twins, Sam and Rose. From the title role in Mary Poppins, Lily in The Secret Garden, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady to the many special moments in the Holiday Spectacular, sharing the stage with her husband trumps them all.
