HALO WHEELER is a Birmingham native and graduate of the illustrious Howard University. Halo has opened up for singers such as Frankie Beverly and Maze, Chrisette Michelle, and Kelly Price. She released her very first CD entitled This Is Who I Am in August 2014. Halo is excited to make her return to the RMT stage as she has graced the stage in many productions such as
Shrek, Dreamgirls, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Little Shop of Horrors, Once on This Island, and many more. Halo lives by the Eric Thomas quote “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” She would like to thank her family and friends who have made a great impact on her life thus far.
JAIDA DAVIS is a senior at Shades Valley High School. She has been in numerous shows these past years. She has been in shows such as Sister Act, Jr (Michelle), Into The Woods, Jr (Little Red), BKLYN: the Musical (Cityweed), Les Miseràbles (Eponine), All Together Now (Chorus), Ernest And The Pale Moon (Chorus), BatBoy: the Musical (Daisy), The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (Lucy), Our Town (Rebecca Gibbs), Big Fish (The Witch), The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time (Siobhan), Wolves (#00), and The Laramie Project (Marge Murray). JONES is from Birmingham, Alabama. At an early age, Temperance learned to appreciate fine arts from her mother, an artist and arts educator. This foundation shaped Temperance as a singer, actor, educator, and cultural contributor.
Temperance received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. Currently, she is the Outreach Coordinator for Opera Mississippi and a Professional Artist who has developed a stellar national reputation for her musical theatre performances across the country: locally (Birmingham Children’s Theatre, Opera Birmingham, & Birmingham Music Club), nationally (Opera Mississippi, Virginia Repertory Theatre, Arizona Broadway Theatre, RWS Entertainment Group, Prather Productions...), and internationally (International Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden & Hamburg, Germany). From a mother’s inspiration, to performing internationally, Temperance honors the legacies that came before her, and looks forward to the contributions she still has yet to make! “Performing in my hometown helps further my connection to community, and I’m so grateful.”
