How can we create a more compassionate and resilient future?
Inspire. At the Garrison Institute, we care for caregivers. We help them recover, recharge and re-energize. At the Institute, they build their inner resources and develop practical skills they need to flourish and thrive in their work and lives. We offer programs that cultivate awareness and resilience as essential skills for navigating our complex lives and facing the pressing social challenges of our time.
Nourish. At the Garrison Institute, the peace and tranquility that surround you are mirrored by the calm and stillness you create within. We understand the importance of a supportive contemplative environment when you are recharging your heart and mind. Our programs take place in a renovated monastery surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley. At the Institute, you can be touched by wisdom and compassion. And the food is fantastic.
Enlighten. For over a decade, the Garrison Institute has been a pioneering force spreading contemplative wisdom and practices throughout society. Our programs are led by teachers from diverse spiritual traditions and secular thoughtleaders in the fields of humanitarian aid, education, healthcare, climate change, and social justice. All of our teachers are dedicated to helping those on the front-lines of social change.
Engage. There are many ways for you to support the Garrison Institute. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Visit garrisoninstitute.org to learn more about our retreats and programs, sign up for our e-newsletter, read our blog and consider another retreat. If you’d like to make a donation, please visit garrisoninstitute. org/donate or use the envelope in your room. By supporting our scholarship fund and training programs, you will help those on the front-lines of social change to experience the benefits of deep reflection. Thank you for helping us build a more compassionate and resilient future.
