EVERY STUDENT SUCCEEDS ACT (ESSA)
THERE ARE 111,431 (64%) ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS IN REGION 7.
The purpose of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is to provide all children signifi cant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps.
Stay ahead of requirements and due dates through contracted member updates, sessions, and resources. Positively impact student achievement by equipping staff with high-quality training and resources.
When our district created the Director of Federal & State Programs position, the team at Region 7 reached out to me immediately to ask what my needs were. As a new contracted member in my fi rst year, I can honestly say that this remarkable team was with me every step of the way. They made sure I had what I needed to ensure our district operated an effi cient, compliant, and successful Federal Programs department. I am so thankful for their service.
