The Region 7 ESC Purchasing Cooperative services over 150 education entities located throughout the state of Texas and maintains 2,500 plus companies awarded through 34 discount and fi ve line-item/ single-source bids.
On average, districts save over $1.2 million by utilizing Region 7 ESC Purchasing Commodity Processing Services.

Region 7 ESC Purchasing continually strives to exceed the memberships’ purchasing requirements while maintaining the fl exibility needed to satisfy the needs of all educational members, from 1A rural districts to 5A urban districts.

THE PURCHASING COOPERATIVE TEAM WILL:
• Assist districts/charters with local RFPs and RFQs upon request • Post district/charter proposals and send to applicable awarded vendors • Provide technical assistance and training in good procurement practices

REGION 7 FOOD SHOW
The Region 7 ESC Purchasing Cooperative hosts an annual food service show that allows exhibitors the ability to serve healthy product samples to Food Service Directors, school cafeteria employees, and students in Region 7. This show connects food and drink vendor representatives to district contacts who are making the decisions about what can and should be served to students throughout the school year. On average, there are about 90 food service vendors who attend the event, which is coordinated through the Purchasing Cooperative.
