The Career & Technical Education (CTE) Cooperative provides schools with professional development opportunities, technical assistance with strategic planning and implementation, and supports staff with guidance on state-approved programs. By joining the CTE Cooperative, districts will learn how to maximize their CTE dollars, evaluate their current Programs of Study, and increase their CCMR outcome bonus.
ON AVERAGE, THE CTE COOPERATIVE WILL SAVE DISTRICTS IN REGION 7 APPROXIMATELY $40,718.
Region 7’s CTE department is outstanding, as they are also always available to answer any question and help in any way they can. Knowing we can turn to qualifi ed professionals when we need help with any and all CTErelated issues is amazing. You guys are awesome!! :)

In 2020, CTE partnered closely with the Region 7 ESC Marketing & Communications department to create Programs of Study Guidebooks for participating cooperative schools as a great way to educate parents and recruit students in the programs off ered at their schools. Districts communicated directly with the Education Service Center to personalize these guidebooks, and the CTE department covered the cost of the design work and printing fees.

“Working with the Region 7 CTE department this year has been the best and easiest experience. This is my fi rst year as a CTE administrator and Kimberly, Carrie and Mark have been there with me every step of the way to ensure our schools CTE success. From assisting us with our POS and guidebook, to leading informative round tables and legislative updates, the team was there to answer and assist with all of our needs. I believe that our CTE department is stronger and more prepared than we have been in years, and it is in large part to the work and guidance of the Region 7 CTE team. Thank you!”
