A phrase helpful for all healthy habits, revising little and often takes the stress away by making exams feel less daunting. Cramming information into your brain in a short space of time is not only ineffective in storing the content in your long-term memory, but drastically increases stress levels. very stressful situation. Take some from the exam board’s website, break down the question’s command words and key topics, write out bullet point answers or even full paragraphs, to get yourself used to how an exam feels.
There is an immense pressure on students to perform well in exams, sometimes it can feel as though they’re the most important thing in the world. Perhaps you didn’t get the grade you desired in a mock exam, perhaps you’re struggling to understand a particular topic, or even an entire subject, this does not mean you are completely doomed. This feeling of failure is an incredible lesson to learn, not just for your studies, but for life. or this quest I focused on whisky productions from the UK, with a good number of styles and types, which satisfy the most ardent of whisky lovers and connoisseurs. Many people enjoy whisky as a base ingredient for a grand cocktail mix, for example. From a selective range of companies that produce whiskies, I chose just two, from the numerous which are available and have a reputation for excellence.
FThe multi award-winning Compass Box (Scotch Whisky Makers) Company was founded during 2000. Their ‘Core Collection’ continues to prove extremely popular. Nectarosity (46% vol) utilises American oak barrels during its production, with overtones of honey and tropical fruits.
Crimson Casks (46% vol) uses sherry and red wine casks for the production process. I found this whisky to be spicy, with a vol) is produced with bourbon barrels. Multi award-winning Spirit of Yorkshire (Filey Bay) has become very much recognised in the appreciation and barley is utilised, to great advantage, in their whisky productions. The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery continues to thrive and gain new ‘converts’ too.
Ex-bourbon matured Filey Bay Flagship (46% vol) is very much and palate sensation. Shaved, toasted and re-charred ex-red wine casks are involved in the very impressive productions, enhancing the overtones of sweet spices and red fruits. Further productions include Filey Bay Yorkshire Day (55% vol/Special Release) and several more delectations. The whiskies are all bottled, by hand, at Indeed, spirits that are highly worthy of a follow-up.

Our En-suite, bathroom and cloak room were seventeen years old when we started our journey to replace them. As you do, we looked at three Chesterfield companies all had excellent reviews, our buying criteria was, design, quality, project management and price. Leonide hit all the four points we were looking for while adding a consultative sales element to the process. Their designs were collaborative, when we wanted changes, the CAD was changed while we were there to reflect the changes, we were given advice, again to demonstrate this the CAD was changed. Our preferences and priorities were listened too, thus, making the buying experience relatively stress free. The quality of the product has proven to be excellent. The project management was excellent, from delivery of product, the skip and projected time frames. The installation team were first class, excellent workmanship, attention to detail, clean and professional, we cannot praise them enough. The whole experience of dealing with Leonide, from the beginning to the final sign off was everything as promised. Oh and of course the price was certainly value for money and that is why, Excellent, Highly Recommend.

“We’re very grateful to our loyal, supportive customers,” said Lesley. “Our enthusiastic staff go over and above when it comes to customer service.”
One area that has seen big changes in recent years is the increase in online shopping and the advent of social media.
“Many ladies still enjoy one-to-one customer service but we also have to be proactive with social media and keep our website fresh for ladies shopping online,” added Lesley. “But my biggest job satisfaction is spending time with customers in store.”
As assistant manager, Natalie’s role consists of meeting families and supporting them through bereavement and the process of arranging a loved one’s funeral service.
“My great grandfather, William, started this business over 100 years ago, my grandfather Stan’s life work has made us what we are today,” said Natalie. “I hope to carry on his good work, good name and unparallelled service in the industry, doing everything we can as a testament to the families who trust us to care for them. My grandfather’s legacy and ethos is very much at the heart of everything we do here and long may it continue.”
Natalie’s aims are to uphold those traditional values whilst guiding the business into the 21st century, adapting funeral directing and the industry into the modern day.
Asked if she had any advice, she said: “Listen, learn and ask plenty of questions, be accountable not just for yourself but for others too. Respect your staff and take on board suggestions and opinions to strengthen your business.”
