COACH DAVE WILLSEA
HEAD COACH - KEN SHAW
Coach Shaw begins his 48th season as a head coach and his 16th year at Regis Jesuit He guided the Raiders to back-to-back-to-back 5A State hoops championships in 2009, 2010 and 2011 The Raiders have won the Continental League title nine out of the last 14 seasons with a record of 120 -20 (85.7%). He also won single state championships with Yuma and Sterling. Coach Shaw is a former star Colorado prep player at Merino where he was the leading scorer in state history at the time of his graduation. He has amassed over 800 wins becoming just the third coach in state history to achieve this milestone Before coaching at Regis Jesuit, Coach Shaw coached at Smoky Hill, in addition to Rocky Mountain, Yuma and Sterling. Coach Shaw has been part of eight State Championship teams in his career and has a remarkable winning percentage of 74.2 over his 47 years of coaching. He has been married to Susan for 35 years and has two children: son, Kelly and daughter Setera
I coach because….. because I love the game and all that it has given me in my life. I feel honored to coach at Regis Jesuit with such outstanding young men that we have in our program each and every year. I also feel blessed to work with the terrific coaches and men that I have on my staff.
Favorite memory from coaching: Meeting with Joel Tribelhorn after the trip home after losing in the District finals to go to State in 1983 and sharing a hug with Joey Ptasinski immediately after winning the State Championship in 2009.

COACH TIM ANDREE
This is Coach Andree's first year coaching at Regis Jesuit He grew up in New Jersey and played high school basketball for Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ. Following high school, he played basketball at the University of Notre Dame where he majored in Business Management (Consulting) and minored in Theology.
After graduating from Notre Dame, he attended and graduated from New York University School of Law. Tim is a practicing lawyer with a focus on transactions. He is married to Julie and has three children, Grace, Rosalind and Hayes

I coach because… I love having the opportunity to build relationships with our players and teach a game that can bring you on amazing adventures in life. Coaching provides the opportunity to create a positive impact on players' lives, even if the lessons aren't always about executing x's and o's

Coach Willsea is a native of Colorado and played basketball at Gateway High School, where he was a four-sport athlete. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, he returned home to teach and coach basketball He has been coaching high school basketball in Colorado for over 20 years. Coach Willsea and his wife, Tanya, have three kids; Tavian '22 is 19, Isabelle is 16, and Domini is 14. Coach Willsea feels blessed to be at RJHS

I coach because… enjoy building relationships with our players. I want to encourage and guide them to be better players, but more importantly, better men. I find it rewarding, and hope to give each player a memorable and terrific experience.
Favorite memory from coaching at RJ: We have had so many wonderful coaches, players and families in our program. I am honored to be a part of it and building those relationships has enriched my life beyond words. It is truly a special place and being able to coach my oldest son was an absolute pleasure and a highlight in my career

COACH BLAKE BUTTERLY
Coach Butterly was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and attended Regis Jesuit and Bishop Machebeuf High School, where he played basketball and tennis for four years. After graduating from high school, he attended Colorado Mesa University and was a walk on to the tennis team He transferred to University of Colorado-Colorado Springs where he pursued a degree in Business Administration and Sports Management While at UCCS he was an undergraduate assistant for the men's basketball program won a RMAC championship with the program. After graduating, Coach Butterly moved back to Denver to work for the Colorado Rockies while coaching at Bishop Machebeuf. He then moved on to coach at Bear Creek Highschool, serving as the freshman and JV coach for the past six years. Coach Butterly is extremely excited to be at Regis Jesuit
COACH BRAD DORAIS
Coach Dorais has been teaching and coaching for 28 years This is his second year coaching at Regis Jesuit He was varisty head coach for 13 years at Pagosa Springs, Mesa Ridge and Cherokee Trail when it opened in 2003-04 He has also coached boys and girls tennis Coach Dorais currently teaches math at Cherokee Trail, including IB. He is married to Kati, who has taught at Regis Jesuit for 19 years and they have three children: Morgan - 18, Joe - 16, Haley - 14, and Jackson - 8

I coach because ... I love watching the players grow, develop, and come together for something bigger than themselves. There are so many life lessons that basketball teaches that I am glad to be a part of it, and hopefully build life-long relationships with my players. Coaching philosophy: Get players to achieve more than they thought possible by having positive attitudes and great effort (the 2 things that they have control of), putting the goals of the team above their individual goals, and doing it all with great enthusiasm
