Experiencing it anew through the eyes of our guests—embarking on a private ship, the Ducasse sur Seine, along the Seine River, where the Olympic opening ceremonies unfolded, savoring a Michelinstarred dinner from famed Chef Alain Ducasse as we glided past Paris’ most iconic landmarks, from the timeless Notre-Dame and the Louvre to the shimmering Pont Alexandre III and the Grand Palais—reminded me that the best travel feels both timeless and new.

F1 IN MEXICO CITY

Recently, Cuvée ventured to Mexico City to witness the F1 Grand Prix. Guests immersed in the height of the legendary motorsport event from the comfort of the F1 Experience Suite, right above the pit lane.

Guests enjoyed exclusive access to walk the pit lane and paddock area, where they rubbed shoulders with the F1 elite (including a Brad Pitt sighting).

Le Café Louis Vuitton

Fashionable foodies, rejoice! Louis Vuitton has opened its first restaurant in the United States. Located on the fourth floor of the fashion house’s 57th Street New York City location, Le Café Louis Vuitton is helmed by Michelin-starred Executive Chef Christophe Bellanca, known for his French restaurant Essential by Christophe. Bellenca is joined by executive pastry chef Mary George, who comes from Daniel Boulud’s Daniel.

The menu highlights Louis Vuitton signatures including a crisp monogram waffle, topped with either caviar and crème fraîche or tzatziki; flower ravioli with spinach, fontina, taleggio, and black truffle; and crab “Louis” salad or Le Croque “Louis Paris,” featuring white ham, Comté, and more black truffle. Entrees feature black bass with clam bouillon, scallop soufflé with golden Ossetra caviar and Champagne beurre blanc, and the brand’s take on a hamburger—Le Burger “1898,” with dry-aged beef and Vermont cheddar.

“By offering an approachable yet luxurious experience, we aim to resonate with New Yorkers and visitors alike,” Bellanca explains. “The combination of gourmet dishes and warm hospitality ensures that our café stands out in this ever-evolving food landscape.”

TAIKUN SUSHI POPS UP IN ASPEN

Taikun Sushi is popping up again at Hotel Jerome’s Bad Harriett this winter, with New York City’s Chef Kei Yoshino offering an intimate omakase dining experience with fresh ingredients from premier international markets, including Tokyo’s renowned Toyosu Fish Market. With just twelve seats and three nightly seatings Wednesday through Sunday, the lucky few diners will be guided through a specially curated menu. Meanwhile, Chef Yoshino will walk guests through each course with commentary and insight that will truly make for unforgettable dining experience. The curated sake from Hotel Jerome’s private cellar provides an exceptional complement to the chef’s creations. Taikun sets the standard for unique dining offerings in Aspen at $225 per person for the omakase experience, with the option to add a sake pairing for an additional $225.

NEWMAN'S OWN

A New York City penthouse pied-à-terre bought by Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward back in the early 1980s is on the market for $9.95 million. While their primary residence was in Westport, Connecticut, the couple used the penthouse for weeks-long stays. The top-floor spread retains original pre-war features including 11-foot ceilings, herringbone wood floors, a wood-burning fireplace, and decorative wood moldings and built-ins. It spans nearly 3,000 square feet, while two terraces add another 2,300 square feet of space, one east-facing with sweeping sunrise views over Central Park and the other with north, west and south city and sunset views. Newman was a skilled pianist who once kept a grand piano in the 36-footlong living room that has a fireplace at one end and a hidden walk-in dry bar at the other.

One of the more distinguished cooperative apartment houses on Fifth Avenue, other notable residents over the years include another entertainment industry couple who have been married for decades, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, and James Gorman, the former CEO of Morgan Stanley, who will become chairman of The Walt Disney Company next year.

The Need for Speed

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the finished version of its first Mythos car, the AMG PureSpeed, a stylish speedster equipped with a HALO system similar to that found on Formula 1 cars. The new model is an open-top two-seater that lacks a windshield but does have a halo system that divides the cabin and provides protection in case of an accident. Two aerodynamic helmets with integrated intercoms are provided so that the driver and passenger can converse even at high speed. Mercedes has confirmed that it will be powered by the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 found in the sub-brand’s SL63 roadster with 577 horse power and 590 ft lbs of torque, while going from zero to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 196 mph. Other technical features include a nine-speed automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering, ceramic composite brakes, and a suspension system with semi-active hydraulic roll stabilization. Mercedes has already said it plans to build just 250 and, while no price has been announced, expect it to be well north of the $208,150 starting price of the AMG SL63 S E Performance.

For Bobby and Marty Page travel is about creating lasting connections with their growing multi-generational family. As the founding member at JPI Companies and TDI RE, Bobby's family—which includes their three daughters, their spouses, and their grandchildren—often spends extended stays with Cuvée, escaping the heat of Dallas summers for cooler mountain retreats. Their trips, centered on adventure and connection, have become a cherished family tradition.

01. CLUB DE GOLF SON SERVERA

The original 9-hole course opened in 1966, and was named Punta Rotja Golf Club, changing its name shortly afterwards to Club de Golf Son Servera. It was designed by John Harris and Francisco López Segales, and it is the second oldest golf course in Mallorca. In 2012, the course was completed, extending the course 6,616 yards with the par-72 parkland course featuring generous fairways and the rough is kept at a length which means the punishment isn’t too severe if you stray off line. Those who play the new holes, 3 to 7, often comment how tight they are, as they wind between Mallorcan Pines, leaving no margin for error off the tee. The greens are full of subtle undulations and there is water in play on six of the holes. The course and friendly club house are a favorite of many of the locals,

02. T GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

Opened in 1978, the golf course formerly known as "Golf de Poniente" was reimagined as T-Golf & Country Club in 2015. It’s one of the oldest and most respected courses on the island, retaining the kind of status that is afforded to the older Scottish clubs in Britain. The 18-hole, par-72 layout measures 7,027 yards and runs through beautiful rolling hills. Woodland pines, lakes, sweeping terrain, numerous bunkers, and large and quick greens, all conspire to make this one of the most enjoyable rounds you will ever play. The views from the 8th and 11th holes alone are worth a visit, giving you an appreciation for the rugged beauty of this course, which is frequently regarded as the best designed golf course on Mallorca. The 8th hole plays blind and steeply downhill with a ravine to the right. Place your drive onto the fairway and you’ll have a medium iron left to a big green surrounded by palms and panoramic views. The best is still to come. The 14th will scare you at the tee. Water and reed beds loom large and to the right, and bunkers guard the run-off at the fairway end. The green at first seems unreachable, but it is possible to carry the water with a sweet strike.

03. SON GUAL

Designed by German course designer Thomas Himmel, Golf Son Gual's 1st tee, perched at the highest point of the course, offers spectacular views. The two par-5s are both just about reachable, but the 4th will require a very precise fairway-wood approach while, at the 6th, it is far too easy to get carried away and try to cut off too much from the tee. As is the case from start to finish, most of the greens are cleverly angled to encourage good shot-making and there are generous and beautifully manicured aprons to allow the choice of a putt, rather than a forced one-dimensional succession of testing chips. The 9th is a superb long par-3 over more water. The back nine follows a similarly impressive theme, with intelligent routing offering a variety of choices for both tee shots and approaches. The 15th is played out in front of a “palacio,” which dates back to World War One. More water could easily be the undoing of plenty of medal and stroke play rounds at 16 and 17, and the last, a par-5, is a fitting finish. A stream will catch anything hooked off the tee, and the same stretch of water will do likewise with anything pushed with the second or third (or even fourth) shots. From one end to the other, this is a demanding closing hole.

04. CLUB DE GOLF ALCANADA

With its privileged location in the north of the island in the bay of Alcudia, Club de Golf Alcanada is the jewel amongst Mallorca’s golf courses. The club, which was opened in 2003, boasts spectacular scenery and views along its 6,559-metre layout, and is designed to challenge both professional and amateur players. The Lighthouse at Alcanada, in all its talismanic splendor, is an emblem you will see from most of the golf course. The lighthouse brought tired sailors, battered by tempestuous seas, back home safely to the sheltering bay of Alcudia in days gone by.

Now there is a new resonance; it is a beacon for golfing excellence.

hen a couple with homes spanning the globe looked to build in Telluride, they told their architect to steer clear of pitched roofs or other clichés of Rocky Mountain homes. With that, the team at Thomas Hamel & Associates set out on a global search for other types of mountain architecture, including styles found in Lebanon, Morocco and Japan. The project, which took more than five years to complete, followed an edict of old meets new design sensibilities, where global influences coalesced to create a bespoke mountain masterpiece.

Imagine skiing (or snowboarding) the famous Minturn Mile, guided by a local pro who knows the untrekked terrain like the back of his hand. You arrive at the Minturn Saloon – a historic outpost turned locally-loved restaurant – to find your ski concierge outfitted with dry clothes and a handcrafted cocktail calling your name. A western cooking class with proprietor Chef Tony Mazza is next on the agenda, where you’ll enjoy a custom margarita bar before sitting down to a hardy four-course meal. Your evening ends with live music and dancing before being shuttled back to your chalet. This is just one of the unique, highly immersive Cuvée experiences that Forster has created, and it’s unveiling this ski season.

“Everyone visits the Vail Valley and does and sees the same things. And while these experiences are incredible and luxurious, they’re homogeneous and available to anyone,” she explains. “We wanted to take the idea of a ski trip itinerary and turn it on its head, adding local flavor and exclusive access you can only get with Cuvée.”

From fly fishing, horseback riding, sleigh rides and VIP skiing and snowboarding excursions to in-chalet après, curated shopping experiences, and health and wellness retreats including massage therapy, acupuncture, spa, sauna, and oxygen therapy, Pollyanna’s goal is the same.

“Hospitality is all about how you make people feel, and we do that through our touchpoints and experi-

ences,” she explains. “Whether you’re dining in an ice sculpture garden aglow along Gore Creek, or having an Après Ski Champagne and Caviar tasting on the top of Vail Mountain, these aren’t things you can do any day of the week. As a sommelier, guests can expect the ultimate in wine experiences as well, “I bring an elevation to our wine program as well by partnering with specific wineries, doing elevated private labels and utilizing craft cocktails.” And, as a former restaurant owner, Forster is also helping shape Cuvée’s dining experiences with local chefs and culinary partners, while also instilling culinary from a wellness standpoint with vitality breakfasts, smoothie bars, juice shots, and ginger and turmeric.

“For lack of a better word, I’m ‘Cuvée-ing’ it,” she laughs. Case in point? Forster’s reimagination of the après ski picnic. While any après experience in Vail is inherently entertaining, her version is in a class above. “Guests arrive to a linen laid table, with crystal glassware, and true silver. It’s all in the details,” Forster attests. From there, an epicurean tablescape of hot grazing bites, a chili bar and artisan cheeses and charcuterie with fresh pastries awaits. All the while, Champagne and wine are chilling in a snowbank with batched cocktails and mocktails ready to be poured.

Kristen loves that she can confidently recommend a guest to Francesco in Italy or Willy in St. Barth, knowing they’ll feel as cared for as if they were visiting friends.

This sense of community inspires Kristen to create meaningful moments for her guests. When a family member couldn’t join an activity, she spent the afternoon with him watching football and sharing stories. “The smallest actions can speak volumes,” she says, illustrating her belief that extraordinary experiences often come from personal touches.

Her journey with Cuvée has transformed her perspective on hospitality. Having worked at The Little Nell, a Forbes Five-Star property renowned for its exceptional service, and undergone rigorous Forbes Travel Guide training, Kristen had already experienced some of the highest standards in the industry. For Francesco, who has been with Cuvée for 11 years, the journey has been one of passion and growth. Larry Mueller, Cuvée’s CEO and Founder, first met Francesco in a bar in Florence, and the connection was immediate. From the very beginning, there were no question—Francesco’s vision aligned perfectly with Cuvée’s. He was instrumental in transforming the Tuscan Farmhouse alongside Paolo, Tuscan Farmhouse Property Manager, helping to bring to life what would become one of the best villas in Italy. “We saw that vision together, and the relationship was formed,” Mueller recalls. His role didn’t stop there; he has been critical in expanding Cuvée’s footprint across Italy, overseeing its evolution and maintaining its exceptional standards. Today, his wife, Laura, and son, Niccolo, are now are a part of the Cuvée fold, reinforcing the sense that Cuvée is more than a workplace—it’s family.

Francesco’s dedication to maintaining immaculate villas and delivering warm, personalized service has become his hallmark. Guests often return year after year, greeted like old friends. “We aim to make our guests feel as if they were at home,” he says, highlighting his belief that hospitality is rooted in genuine connection.

Willy’s journey to Cuvée is rooted in an exceptional career that spans two decades in the Parisian luxury hotel industry, including serving as a butler at the iconic Hôtel de Crillon, where he honed his craft in delivering world-class service and mastering French "savoir vivre." Willy, who joined Cuvée just over a year ago, was drawn to the company by its unique blend of passion and authenticity. His first meeting with Susan Farrugia, COO and Co-Founder of Cuvée, left a lasting impression. “She spoke with such passion about the company, how it works, and the team in Denver. It felt like I was joining a family, not just a luxury hotel group,” Willy recalls. Every stay is personal for Cristina, who describes her approach as giving “a little piece of my heart” to every guest. “I love them from the moment that we first connect and I treat them as if they are part of my family,” she explains. Cristina’s introduction to Cuvée was love at first sight. “I was invited to an in-villa dinner, and I thought to myself, ‘I belong here. This is where I can grow, learn, and share my passion for hospitality and service,’” she recalls. Since then, her dedication to delivering exceptional experiences has only deepened.

One of Cristina’s most unforgettable moments was the Cuvée team training retreat in Italy in 2022. As a brand deeply rooted in the art of discovery, Cuvée continues to attract a community of likeminded travel enthusiasts – individuals and families whose penchant for celebrating an extraordinary life in the world’s most exquisite cultural destinations is palpable. Each year, this synergistic spirit is personified through the annual Cuvée Gala. Most recently, they sojourned to Paris for the greatly anticipated 2024 Summer Olympics. A highly immersive experience, Cuvée offered an exclusive vantage point for the XXXIII Olympiad.

“Much like the adventures we curate for our Cuvée villa guests, the gala offered privileged access to the city's most emblematic museums, restaurants and cultural icons,” explains Cuvée founder and CEO Larry Mueller. “This unprecedented glimpse into the joie de vivre of France was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

Leaving the notion of a tired guidebook behind, Cuvée curated a VIP itinerary brimming with adventure, culture, culinary and sport.

THE OLYMPIC GAMES

Guests experienced the Games in Cuvée-style, with VIP tickets giving them exclusive access to the best culinary experiences, viewing opportunities, and behind-thescenes glimpses of the Paris Olympic Games. Gymnastics (including an opportunity to watch beloved champion Simone Biles), beach volleyball under the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, the gold medal soccer match, and the equestrian finals at the historic Palace of Versailles were all on our exclusive Olympic itinerary.

Gala attendees also had the rare opportunity to meet and mingle with past medallists at the Team USA House – a vibrant home base for US Olympic athletes, coaches, family, and VIP guests – all within the stunningly transformed and historic Palais Brongniart.

Our Olympic experiences were complemented by ultra-exclusive gatherings like a private reception atop the Eiffel Tower prior to the evening beach volleyball finals where our gala guests revelled in a rare bird’s eye view of Paris.

In Versailles, guests were also treated to a meal that would please even the most discerning connoisseurs with a private lunch at the Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse where course after decadent course was served. Afterwards, we explored Versailles via private guided tour, allowing for an unprecedented glimpse into the storied palace’s rich history and indelible beauty.

Beyond the thrill of the Olympic Games, gala guests were immersed in a medley of experiences that captured the essence of Paris during this historic event. The more ambitious among the group climbed the color-dotted path to the hilltop cathedral, after which guests met for lunch at a quaint bistro in picturesque Monmarte – a quintessentially French experience in a classic Parisian neighborhood.

While Cuvée gatherings have always exhibited an exemplary focus on cuisine, the team took it to the next level in the superlative culinary wonderland of France. Incredible menus and entertainment were curated at Paris's world-renowned Michelin-starred restaurants.

“Paris is arguably the best place in the world to eat. We wanted our guests to experience the city’s unique food scene through Cuvée’s lens,” details Mueller. “Global visitors spend months upon months waiting for access to Paris’ best Michelin-starred restaurants, and our guests were given a front row seat to the best chefs in the city, if not the world,” he finishes.

From a private reception and seven course dinner with Epicure's Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Faye , to dinner at tres chic L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon Etoileoil on the iconic Champs Elysees, to the uber popular Lazare by Eric Frechon, gala guests indulged in a culinary adventure that would impress and inspire.

CHAMPAGNE EXCURSION

Following their time in Paris, Cuvée guests journeyed to Champagne – the dynamic viniculture region in the northeastern part of France. Days were spent tasting exquisite bubbly and adventuring outdoors. They also made time for relaxing at the world-renowned Champagne spa.

Guests embarked on an exclusive tour and tasting at the prestigious Perrier-Jouët estate. Their visit immersed them in the rich heritage of this iconic champagne house, with a guided exploration of their historic cellars and an intimate tasting of their finest vintages.

Gala guests also spent a delightful day just outside Reims with an exclusive tour of the historic Ruinart cellars, where they experienced the brand’s unmistakable hallmarks. Afterward, they indulged in a luxurious chef-prepared lunch, expertly paired with Ruinart’s exquisite champagnes.

While in St. Andrews, we’ll explore the legendary town, known for its historic university, medieval cathedral, and picturesque beaches. Enjoy dinner at a nearby historical venue, as a traditional bagpipe performance accompanies your meal, setting the tone for your Scottish journey.

Gala guests may also experience Kingsbarns Distillery, where we’ll have access to a VIP guided tour through the whisky-making process followed by a tasting of their single malt whiskies.

n aerial bartender, a live auction, two jet hangars, hundreds of exotic cars and planes, fine fare, oncein-a-lifetime vacations, a ten-piece band and a fashion show. It’s enough to go down in the re -

cord books as the event of the century. But for Cuvée, it was Flight to Luxury – the standout fundraising event that the brand and its team produced for nine straight years, raising more than $12 million during its nearly decade-long run.

Since then, the brand has evolved into a conduit for philanthropy, raising funds and lending resources to organizations across the globe to the tune of $20 million since its inception.

But how did a boutique collection of vacation homes go from a small group of friends raising $50K to a multimillion-dollar philanthropic powerhouse? Get to know Cuvée’s charitable impact – past, present and future.

PHILANTHROPY TAKES FLIGHT

The year was 2010. Cuvée Founder Larry Mueller invited his friends and colleagues to a small fundraiser in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver where the group viewed an impressive showcase of private jets and exotic cars, drank fine wines and enjoyed one another’s company. That night, Mueller and his Cuvée comrades raised $50,000 by auctioning off lavish trips to the brand’s portfolio of homes. It was a respectable start, but Mueller knew that there was something much bigger in store.

By the next year, Flight to Luxury would move to Signature Flight’s private hangar and the crowd would double, while funds raised more than tripled. A fashion show was introduced, dazzling partygoers with looks from local boutiques. The following year, that fashion show became one of the best in the city as international design superstar Su Wong flew in to personally show her latest collection. That night, Flight to Luxury passed the half-million mark. To celebrate, an aerial bartender poured Veuve Clicquot to guests as she flew from the hangar’s rafters. Something special was happening, and by 2015 the event had surpassed the million-dollar mark. The event would run through 2019, raising $1.7 million in a single evening its final year. Along the way, the Cuvée team would turn Flight to Luxury into the most anticipated charity event of the year in Denver. Featuring what would become its signature aerial bartender, two jet hangars, hundreds of exotic cars and planes, NFL superstars tossing signed footballs into the crowd, fine fare, once-in-a-lifetime vacations, a ten-piece band, a live auction and an over-the-top fashion show, Flight to Luxury earned both its reputation and the $12 million the event raised throughout its nine-year run.

Dubbed ‘Denver’s ultimate giving experience,’ Cuvée’s team would aim to outdo itself with each subsequent year. Whether it was the addition of a ballerina dancing over the crowd on stilts, a live rock band playing alongside models as they walked the fashion show runway, or NFL greats John Elway and Peyton Manning passing balls into the crowd to the tune of $10K a pop, each year became better and more ballyhooed than the last.

Throughout Flight to Luxury’s successful tenure, the Cuvée team would learn the intricacies of fundraising and event planning, becoming some of the best and most impactful corporate philanthropists in the region. “Giving back is as core to Cuvée as our homeowners and guests. It is intwined into everything we do,” explains Larry Mueller. “We took the same approach to Flight to Luxury as we did with our villas and our brand. Our goals were very similarto raise the bar and create an extraordinary experience.”

A NEW WAY TO GIVE

Taking the lessons they’d learned over the past decade, Mueller and the Cuvée team would turn Flight to Luxury’s legacy into a new way to give. One that was about much more than money alone. “Flight to Luxury was so successful because we did what we do best – we brought together likeminded individuals and used our resources – not just our bank account – to give back. That’s something we believe deeply in,” explains Mueller. “We don’t just want to give these organizations money. We want to give them the knowledge and tools to continue to raise more and more money for many years to come,” he continues.

Using the relationships and assets at their disposal to give back to the communities in which it does business is a core value for Cuvée, and it’s one that the brand has continued to build on with each passing year. In addition to donating Cuvée villas and experiences to a number of causes – primarily those impacting underprivileged youth and families – the company gives considerable time and resources as well.

“Beyond donating our villas and funds, Cuvée lends its knowledge, time and expertise to our non-profit partners to help elevate their events, making them more impactful,” details Cuvée’s VP of Marketing Erica Blair. “We commit our resources – whether it’s video production and marketing, or creating dynamic, high-value auction packages that will sell for top dollar – to take these organizations further. Cuvée believes in using what you have at your disposal to give back and this our way of doing exactly that.”

The concept is similar to what Cuvée has done within its homeowner group – where the brand has taken the lessons learned through years of experience and has passed them on to its partners. “For us, it’s about finding new, creative ways to give back and raise funds, while simultaneously leveraging our resources to benefit our community,” Blair adds.

It’s an approach that has helped Cuvée and its partners raise more than $20 million together over the past ten years. “At Cuvée, philanthropy and community support are at the heart of who we are and what we do,” Mueller attests.

“Larry’s commitment to not just giving back but also doing so in a way that involves what I would call personal engagement and creativity. I think that’s very inspiring,” reveals legendary quarterback and Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning, a frequent Cuvée guest and friend of Mueller’s. “Whether it’s me throwing footballs into the audience at a fundraising event or celebrating a special occasion, Larry’s passion for philanthropic causes blended with Cuvée’s unique experiences has always resonated with our desire to make a difference, while also trying to make the most out of life.”

A COMMUNITY OF CAUSES

Through Cuvée’s philanthropic support over the past decade - of both gifts and high value auction donationsthe company has helped improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of children nationwide. “We champion national and regional youth-focused non-profit organizations who deliver big impact,” Blair says, proudly. “And many of these organizations are brought to us by our community of Cuvée homeowners and guests.”

As Cuvée’s villa collection has grown, so has its community, many of whom are closely involved with charitable organizations that the brand has become closely con-

nected with. From the cherished Cuvée homeowner whose family has been deeply impacted by Alzheimer’s, to the longtime guest whose life has been dedicated to the awareness and prevention of child abuse, many of the causes that Cuvée has become passionate about supporting were introduced by the brand’s own community.

For some, Cuvée’s role is as simple (yet impactful) as the donation of a villa stay, while for others, the company and its team takes a leadership role, totally transforming the organization’s efforts and events. In the case of the 2024 Carmel Classic, a charitable golf weekend raising funds for 12 key charities, Cuvée was able to partner with the event's organizers to transform the Classic during its 2024 year. NAPLES WINTER WINE FESTIVAL

Now in its 25th year, the Naples Winter Wine Festival is considered one of the most prestigious and successful charity events in the country, having raised an astounding $302 million for children in need since its 2001 inception. Benefiting Naples Children & Education Foundation, whose vision is to improve the physical, emotional and educational lives of underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County, the annual event is an exclusive three-day affair for 650 guests. In 2024 alone, the event raised over $33 million, with its six-hour long live auction including multiple Cuvée-donated lots. Since joining forces with the organization eight years ago, Cuvée has raised nearly $3 million through its villa and experience package donations. In 2025, Cuvée is elevating its presence even further with a once-in-a-lifetime multi-destination auction lot. “The World with Cuvée” will take one jet-setting bidder on the trip of a lifetime, visiting Cuvée’s Tuscan Farmhouse in Italy, Hood Park Haven in Telluride, Colorado, and their choice of a beach destination – either Los Cabos or Hawaii – all for five nights apiece. The package is expected to raise more than $1 million at the 2025 event.

THE CARMEL CLASSIC

Every year, Denver business leader and philanthropist Pat Hamill leads a group of his associates in a charitable golf weekend at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Course. Dubbed the Carmel Classic, the event benefits 12 charities, tackling issues like affordable housing, healthcare, fighting human trafficking, food insecurity, and giving at-risk kids the education they deserve. In 2024, with the close help of the Cuvée team, the Carmel Classic had its most successful year yet, more than doubling its live auction numbers. With Cuvée’s guidance, Hamill and the Carmel Classic expanded its reach by connecting with the brand’s community. Together, Cuvée and the Carmel Classic teams created great momentum, elevating the event’s energy and excitement to raise millions for these 12 deserving charities.

CHILDHELP

Childhelp is the lifelong mission of founders Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, and exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. At their annual Drive The Dream Gala in Phoenix, Cuvée’s curated auction packages – which have included its Tuscan Farmhouse, Villa Vue de Rêves in St. Barth, Seaside La Casita, and more, have raised several million dollars for Childhelp. What’s more, this past year’s event honored Larry Mueller with the organization’s Nellie Jackson Award – named after the late co-founder and matriarch of the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction – which honors donors and patrons who are making a profound difference on the organization. “Larry and Cuvée have made transformational gifts that have helped to support two of Childhelp’s most important National Programs – Childhelp’s National Child Abuse Hotline and our National Prevention Education Program” explains Childhelp’s Executive Vice President Jim Hebets. “It is the only fully evidence based prevention education program in America,” he finishes.

INSIDE CUVÉE’S EVOLUTION FROM A LUXURY REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT FUND TO THE WORLD’S BEST IN CLASS LUXURY VILLA RENTAL COLLECTION

In 2006, former tech industry executive Larry Mueller set out to create a new kind of travel company. At the time, Mueller – who had spent his career traveling the world with the likes of IBM and Ariba, the brand he’d taken public and led to one of the top public offerings of its time, was intent on finding a way to blend his life’s passions – art, architecture, real estate, food and wine, and indeed, travel – into a brand that he could share with his loved ones, friends and business associates. With that, Cuvée was born, and Mueller and a small team that included co-founder and COO Susan Farrugia, his longtime tech colleague, transformed his quiet collection of personal homes in Los Cabos, Colorado, Manhattan, Hawaii and Tuscany into a boutique, luxury travel brand.

Through his own travels, Mueller began to notice an opportunity to create a new kind of travel experience. One that offered quality, consistency and authenticity, elevating the guest experience entirely. Cuvée’s values would center on setting a new standard – on building, renovating and maintaining homes that define luxury to the highest degree. And, in doing so, delving into the rich culture of each destination, becoming experts on the customs and curiosities that make them unique.

“When we started, we set out to do two things. First, to follow an investment model that speaks to a global market, while also building the most exquisite homes with the finest attention to detail,” explains Cuvée founder and CEO Larry Mueller. “Second, we wanted to build a community of likeminded travelers who share a passion for celebrating an extraordinary life, in the world’s most remarkable cultural destinations,” he continues.

Cuvée accomplished both by hand selecting a group of private equity stakeholders – all of whom shared that very passion – and carefully investing in a collection of luxury villas across seven key markets. Taking the lessons learned from more than two decades of luxury real estate development and renovation, Mueller’s vision was to seek the most distinctive residences in the world – those with incomparable views and one-of-a-kind backdrops, with rare locations and superlative history – and take them over the top in both construction and interior design.

In doing so, Cuvée would control each touchpoint, closely managing every step of the process.

“At the time, we owned and managed very select properties, but they were the best homes in the most desirable locations around the world,” Mueller recalls. “We have always created spaces that are meaningful and that appeal to the senses. To us, these homes were individual pieces of art that we would spend months, if not years, perfecting,” he finishes. Cuvée undoubtedly developed a great ability to strategically purchase and transform luxury real estate, eventually achieving recordbreaking sales in Aspen, St. Barth, Manhattan, Los Cabos and Beaver Creek and boasting generous returns for its initial investors.

Since then, the Cuvée brand has evolved from a small portfolio of homes to a collection of 130 of the finest vacation villas worldwide, along with the industry’s highest guest satisfaction rating.

ROOTED IN DESIGN

With a penchant for design and appreciation for architecture, Cuvée builds spaces not on their surroundings but instead, around them. Spaces that encapsulate everything the Cuvée brand is – authentic, distinctive, thoughtful and unrivaled. For Cuvée, luxury real estate is about much more than balance sheets and bragging rights. “It’s about seeing the potential in a home, uncovering its beauty and transforming it into a piece of art for generations to come,” Mueller explains.

Each Cuvée residence was created to be a thoughtful homage to its environment, and a comfortable yet sophisticated reflection of its landscape. Having lived all over the world, Mueller’s sincere appreciation for culture and how it influences design shines through across the entire portfolio. Case in point? When Cuvée purchased its iconic St. Barth villa, Vue de Rêves, it remained untouched for nearly eighteen months while the team ensconced themselves in the subtleties of the home, paying particular attention to how light enters each area from sunrise to sunset and every hour in between. The way the natural glow moved throughout the space dictated the placement of windows, the direction of furnishings and even the division of rooms themselves. Every detail – from sight to smell to sound – impacted the experience. It’s a notion that Mueller calls “designing as you go” and it personifies the company’s design ethos. “We weren’t looking to simply renovate a luxury home. We wanted to create a piece of art that was built to enhance the property’s natural assets,” he says. “These aren’t amenities one could add from a simple blueprint. It took living in the space and developing a true understanding of its nuances to deliver such unique and thoughtfully designed elements.”

Thoughtful indeed, even the fabrics and materials throughout Vue de Rêves were selected with great intention. In fact, sailcloth from a local St. Barth company and cabling like that of a boat’s mast were made into sun shades under which guests can relax – a far cry from even the most luxurious umbrellas. It’s details such as this that took a once dated home and transformed it into the most remarkable piece of architecture on the island.

Likewise, Cuvée’s transformation of a 60-year-old Aspen cabin on the town’s most sought-after street is another ideal example of the company’s approach to real estate and renovation. Situated along idyllic Willoughby Lane, the unofficial “Park Avenue” of Aspen, the historic log cabin was the perfect blend of elements – from the location directly along the coveted river to the sweeping panoramic views of Aspen Mountain and the effortless charm of its architecture. Yet a small footprint required a mindful and creative solution when it came to bringing the home up to Cuvée’s standards. Maintaining its Swedish style log cabin look, Mueller and his team worked within the existing framework to open the previously divided space. From there, they quite literally thought outside the box and doubled the usable area by adding a three-tiered outdoor kitchen, al fresco dining room, living room and in-ground spa, along with two separate fire features, which all overlook the Roaring Fork River and Aspen ski runs.
