all can be rainy and gray, but is also the season of “hygge”. Hygge is the k eyword of Uldahl this season. Usually inadequately translated as “coziness”, which is almost too simplistic; “hygge” has more to do with the art of creating intimacy, building sanctuaries, of inviting closeness and paying attention to what makes us feel open hearted and comfortable. To create well being, connection and warmth. A feeling of belonging to the moment and to each other. Celebrating the everyday. The Autumn collection is all about staying warm, covering your sensibilities. The materials are knits, mohair, flannel, fur and soft qualities, with cable structure, bubble effects and of course edgy details, such as autumn laces with a hairy effect.
The details are especially present in the hand knitted sweaters. Showing the true craftsmanship behind producing unique pieces. A truly ‘hygge’ collection. Working with a slender and lean silhouette, Uldahl clothes will bring out each women’s unique femininity. The harmonic colours are inspired by the Norwegian mountains - from the rough rocks and cliffs, all the way to the pebbles by the beach, combined with soft warm pastels. With a special focus on clean fabrics, Uldahl has aimed to create a collection with durability and countless combination possibilities - it is possible to dress yourself both up and down for every occasion!
