REM TOOL+WC - THE ULTRA LONG LASTING MONOBLOC TAMPING TINE The new concept of REM TOOL+WC tamping tines is the MONOBLOC DESIGN. The tine shaft and the tine spade are forged in one piece as a monobloc instead of being welded together out of two pieces. By the monobloc design. which is only available from REMTOOL+WC. The rear side of the spade is completely flat with no welding seam standing in the way. This allows to hard face the rear side of the spade entirely by tunasten carbide tiles in just the same wav as this is done only with the front side of the side by our competition until now. Due to the integral, hard facing of both sides of the spade. REMTOOL+WC Monobloc tines do not wash out at the spade from the rear side. This is still the case with hard faced tamping tines of other brands. As ballast abrasion cannot wear out the spade from behind. REMTOOL+WC tamping tines reach another 30% increase in life span over other wear resistant tamping tines hard faced by tunasten carbide.
