OUR STORY

We’ve been serving Michigan for close to a century. Long story short, we’ve built our company on three main pillars: Family, Innovation, and Success.

Elsea Realty was founded in 1929 on Fort Street in Downtown Detroit by Staunton Elsea. In 1969, Staunton’s son, Dick negotiated a major deal, merging three well-established firms with Elsea Realty to create the Real Estate One Brand. In 1999 Dick’s sons, Stuart and Dan carried on the family tradition assuming leadership as co- presidents.

We’re entering into our fourth generation as a family-owned company. Just as Dan and Stuart learned the business from the ground up, their kids are doing the same. Stuart’s sons, Evan, launched HouseHop, our iBuyer program, and Erik is Managing Broker at our Rochester Branch. Dan’s daughter, Camille Peterek, is currently Assistant Manager at Max BroockBirmingham and her sister, Caroline, presently resides in Chicago.

The condition of your home’s exterior is most important when it comes to buyer appeal.

Mow your lawn & clean up and debree in the yard

Trim around walkways, trees and bushes

Remove flaking or peeling paint and repaint or stain

Inspect driveway, sidewalks, and foundation for cracks
