UNCOMMON 2020-2021 ANNUAL REPORT

UNCOMMON GENEROSITY

The space and distance experienced during 2020 and 2021 ushered in a time of introspection, reflection, and growth for our Family of Companies. Forced to spend time apart due to the ravages of COVID 19, we were given an opportunity to gain a better understanding of ourselves and to reflect upon what we learned. Through it all, commitment to community remained at the forefront of our collective consciousness. Uncommon commitment amid such tremendous adversity remained steadfast in each of our offices responding to the extraordinary needs of our communities. Members of our Family of Companies worked individually and collectively to provide relief to the front line first responders and healthcare workers with snacks, meals, hand sewn masks, and PPE supplies. Our offices organized food drives, basic needs drives, and general fundraising for service organizations called upon to provide emergency assistance to hard hit communities. Giving Tuesday, our day of generous 100% company match, became Giving November and December as we supported one another in maximizing the giving spirit. When our neighbors experienced loss and were in need, our family stepped up and without missing a beat pulled together and contributed an incredible $765,055 in 2020 during one of the most challenging years our communities have ever faced.

Inspired by the unprecedented generosity of the prior year and encouraged by the slow opening and small steps towards returning to community, the collective commitment demonstrated by members of our family took root and flourished in more places and in new ways. 2021 welcomed a cautious optimism for a return to community and with each passing day our family planned fundraising events that surpassed our greatest expectations. A return to in-person volunteer and fundraising opportunities, albeit limited, encouraged an even deeper commitment to shoring up local charitable organizations that struggled to make it through the difficult months of the previous year. In April of 2021, our Family of Foundations hit our fundraising stride and the increased drive to do more, to help more, to support more became evident as we found ourselves knocking on the door to the $1 million annual giving goal with an incredible $982,453 in charitable contributions to local community organizations. With hundreds of volunteers organizing and supporting over 100 local events reaching more than 130 charities in our communities throughout the year, our family fully embraced commitment to community. Moving forward, we endeavor to continually put in the hard work, to support one another, to give back and lift-up our communities, and to keep charitable giving of resources, volunteer and financial, at the core of all we do.

Looking to great things in the future!
