Pick’n in Grant Park BBQ & Music Festival - Friday, May 8 through Saturday, May 9. Green Drinks at Made Again - Wednesday, May 13, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Made Again, a community of Atlanta artists, designers and furniture celebrates the opening of their flagship store at Inman Quarter. The Green Drinks event will feature live demos of green processes by local artists, wine, free beer from Athens craft brewer Creature Comforts, and a chance to browse the Made Again gallery. Decatur Lantern Parade - Friday, May 15, 8:30 p.m. The Color Wheel Studio, Decatur Arts Alliance, Decatur Education Foundation and Indie-Catur are coming together to host the second annual community Lantern Parade. East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival - Saturday, May 16, 12 p.m. through 5 p.m. at Brownwood Park. This entirely volunteer-run craft beer event will feature more than 230 amazing beers, a shady park setting, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the East Atlanta Foundation nonprofit organization. VIP advance tickets are $75 each, general admission advance tickets are $40 each, VIP day-of tickets are $85 each and general admission day-of tickets are $50 each. Vintage Spring Fling on Ponce - Saturday, May 16, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kiwi Vintage partners with the Lucky Exchange to present a one day pop-up market in Midtown. 16 vintage vendors and local artisans will have goods for sale, featuring The Taste Vintage ice-cream truck, a polaroid picture contest sponsored by Electric Revival Vintage and a raffle sponsored by Kiwi Vintage and Move Loot. Play Day - Sunday, May 17. 20th Annual Hambidge Art Auction - Saturday, May 30, 5 p.m. Co-presented and hosted by the Goat Farm Arts Center, this art event features a curated silent art auction, performance gala and series of Field Experiment installations. This year’s new performances and installations will showcase five finalists from a new public art initiative jointly launched by the Goat Farm Arts Center and Hambidge in February 2015. All proceeds go to the Hambidge Center, which for 80 years has provided residency fellowships to distinguished artists and scientists at a 600-acre creative sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
