Jim Stacy, owner of Pallookaville Fine Foods in Avondale Estates, is currently renovating a former hair salon space in Little Five Points at 1107 Euclid Avenue. The new take-out only spot will offer an abbreviated version of Pallookaville’s original menu and is set to open sometime in May. Information: pallookaville.com.
The restaurant group behind the popular Barcelona Wine Bar in Inman Park plans to open bartaco just across the street in the new Inman Quarter mixed-use development later this year. The menu features tacos, rice bowls and an impressive drinks selection. If you can’t wait, check out the recently opened bartaco in Chastain Park or the one on West Marietta Street near Downtown. Central Food Hall at Ponce City Market
The restaurants and food stalls in the renovated Sears & Roebuck building in the Old Fourth Ward will be opening soon including Dub’s Fish Camp from Anne Quatrano, H&F Burger from Linton Hopkins, Sean Brock’s Mexican concept called Minero and Guy Wong’s Japanese restaurant Ton Ton. MF Sushi
Brothers Chris and Alex Kinjo will revive MF Sushi this month in the Inman Quarter development on North Highland Avenue in Inman Park. There were previous incarnations in Buckhead and Midtown. Let’s hope this one sticks. Information: mfsushiusa.com.
