Action Camp Counselors

Our maximum camper-to-staff ratio of 5:1 ensures close supervision and helps every child develop connections with these fantastic role models.

Ensuring the well-being of our campers is our foremost priority. Each member of our staff undergoes comprehensive screening and preparation, including AED, CPR, and First Aid training. Certified lifeguards supervise all water activities, and camp vehicles are driven by Ohio Department of Education approved drivers.

Our 190-acre campus encompasses: w The 80,000-square-foot Murdough Athletic Center which includes a 200-meter indoor track, 5 basketball courts, and a 6-lane swimming pool with a separate diving well w 12 full-size athletic fields w 10-court tennis center w Cross-country trails w 3 baseball fields w Two- and three-dimensional studios with work stations for painting and printing techniques and a production area for desktop publishing w State-of-the art science labs w A 400-seat theater

WRA Summer Programs does not permit teasing, bullying, or hazing of any kind. We call it the Action Camp Promise, and we ask all campers to sign the Promise.
