En estas páginas recorremos, como en cada edición, varios destinos de nuestro país. Nuestra foto de tapa es de un destino nacional que forma parte de nuestra bella Patagonia Argentina: San Carlos de Bariloche. Bariloc he supo romper con la estacionalidad y con el tipo de visitante que recibe: turistas nacionales y extranjeros lo eligen a lo largo de todo el año no sólo por sus bellísimos paisajes sino también por la variedad de actividades y ofertas gastronómicas y hoteleras de todo nivel con las que cuenta. En tanto que Santa Cruz presenta un paseo conocido no por muchos: El Corredor del Viento, un circuito que visita varias localidades santacruceñas y que seduce tanto por su paisaje como por la historia que trasciende generaciones y que forma parte de la identidad nacional. El verano correntino nos espera con dos celebraciones imperdibles: La Fiesta Nacional del Chamamé y los carnavales, durante los meses de enero y febrero. Para arrancar el año a puro festejo y aprovechar la ida para conocer los distintos atractivos de la provincia. Finalmente nos adentramos en el Circuito de la Ruta 82 a Cacheuta, en Mendoza, un destino emergente que supo posicionarse más allá del turismo de bienestar gracias a sus famosas aguas termales. Ofrece, además, paisajes de ensueño que cautivan y actividades que conjugan adrenalina con relax.-

As in every issue, we travel around many destinations of our country in these pages. The cover photograph is of a national destination that is part of our beautiful Argentine Patagonia: San Carlos de Bariloche. Bariloche knew how to stop the seasonality and the kind of visitor that goes there: national tourists and foreigners chose it throughout the year not only for its beautiful landscapes but also for the variety of activities and gastronomic and all level hotel offers that it has. As for Santa Cruz, it has an outing that is not very known: El Corredor del Viento, a circuit that goes through many districts of Santa Cruz that captivate for its landscape as well as the history that goes beyond generations and that is part of the national identity. The summer in Corrientes awaits us with two obligatory celebrations: The Chamamé National Fest and the Carnivals, in January and February. To start the year celebrating and take the advantage of touring around the different attractions of the province. Finally, we take the Circuit of the Route 82 to Cacheuta., in Mendoza, an emerging destination that could get a position beyond the wellness tourism thanks to its thermal waters. Besides, it offers breathtaking landscapes that captivate and activities that combine adrenalin with relaxation.-

Magnífico recorrido de alta montaña La Ruta 82 sorprende en un paseo que, a sólo 38 km de la ciudad de Mendoza, permite adentrarse en la Precordillera y disfrutar del relax, la aventura y un privilegiado entorno natural de montaña y río.

ace algunos años, Cacheuta era parte del recorrido obligado para cruzar a Chile o llegar a Potrerillos y todas sus villas cordilleranas. Hoy, la ruta provincial 82 dio un vuelco combinando encanto natural con servicios alternativos, logrando que cada vez más visitantes elijan el destino para planificar una escapada o bien, sus vacaciones. Hitos naturales, históricos, culturales y turísticos como el dique Toma de Los Españoles (una de las primeras obras hidráulicas de Argentina), el Museo Ferroviario «Alejandrino Alfonso», la Central Hidroeléctrica Álvarez Condarco, las Ruinas de la Usina de Fader (primer proyecto hidroeléctrico de Mendoza), el Hotel Termas de Cacheuta -que combina los restos del hotel original con su mayor parte reconstruida-, el Puente Colgante y, por supuesto, las

aguas termales reconocidas como de calidad internacional, son sólo algunos de los atractivos que pueden sorprender al turista a lo largo de este recorrido. Un circuito con mucho potencial El camino hacia Cacheuta tiene su paso obligado por Blanco Encalada, donde las bajadas al río se popularizaron con opciones gratuitas y pagas que aspiran al proyecto de desarrollar un balneario público, iniciativa propuesta por las municipalidades de Luján de Cuyo y Las Heras. Mientras, surgen una importante cantidad de restaurantes, bodegones, cabañas, hospedajes y salones de té con fábrica de alfajores inclusive que conviven con empresas de rafting y campings inmersos en empinadas montañas. Llegando al final, donde el camino

se hace un cul de sac, aparece el viejo Cacheuta, en el límite entre los departamentos de Luján de Cuyo y Las Heras, al oeste de la provincia. Relax, historia y diversión, de la mano Cacheuta es un pueblo de montaña que ha sabido reivindicarse y convertirse en un sitio con identidad joven que alberga bares, boliches nocturnos, restaurantes con concepto y cientos de artesanos que se encuentran en el lugar indicado para dejar volar su imaginación y hacer sus creaciones. Pequeñas callecitas van metiéndose en el poblado, algunas ni siquiera permiten el ancho de los autos por lo que sólo se las puede recorrer caminando. La estación de tren se mantiene impoluta con flora crecida que la hace aún más pintoresca

mientras los locales usan durmientes y rieles a modo de decoración. La música es una gran protagonista de este lugar: un spa tipo under permite disfrutar de una tarde de masajes distendidos mientras el reggae se hace propio. Siguiendo la callejuela casi enfrentada a la estación, detrás de una antigua puerta de correos aparece Rock n Riel, un restó de alto vuelo con una estética perfectamente combinada entre el rock y la historia ferroviaria de Cacheuta. Noches de bandas roqueras y tragos que también contagian a uno de los bares más famosos de Mendoza ubicado del otro lado del puente colgante, llamado Giramundo. Con conciencia de reciclaje, esta taberna de montaña conquista a público de todas las edades en un ambiente distendido y festivo. Por supuesto que no faltará la foto en el histórico y característico atractivo de Cacheuta: el puente colgante, que permite descubrir un imponente paisaje y practicar deportes extremos como bungy jumping y puenting. Cacheuta cuenta con un centro termal de fama mundial. La relajación y los beneficios medicinales de estas aguas pueden vivirse tanto en hoteles con los lujos cinco estrellas o en el Parque de Aguas Termales que justamente es la es-

palda del pequeño pueblo que se ha conformado en Cacheuta. Una cómoda piscina semicubierta, otra acondicionada con burbujas con una temperatura promedio de 30º y duchas masajeadoras son algunas de las maravillas que ofrece este parque con espacios para picnic. Obras de infraestructura que beneficiarán al destino A finales de 2017 está prevista la inauguración de un túnel que unirá la RP Nº 82 con la ruta internacional Nº 7 sobre del Dique Potrerillos. En este sentido, Guillermo Barletta, director de Turismo de la Municipalidad de Las Heras, destacó: «Entendimos que es muy importante promocionarnos como un corredor para seguir creciendo mientras esperamos la finalización de una obra que será emblemática». Centrándose en el crecimiento turístico de la zona, el directivo resaltó que se está trabajando para tener «un corredor ordenado, con buena señalética, con servicios de calidad, diversificado, con alojamientos, prestadores y distintas experiencias que permitan generar una buena actividad económica mientras esperamos la apertura de un túnel que va ser muy positivo para el lugar.»-

Cacheuta, la leyenda Su nombre viene de una antigua leyenda que reza sobre un cacique llamado Cacheuta que, dicen, reunió tesoros para liberar a Atahualpa, señor Inca, quien había sido capturado por el enemigo. En el momento del enfrentamiento, Cacheuta escondió la ofrenda y fue vencido. Los contrarios comenzaron su búsqueda y, en ese momento, grandes chorros de agua caliente surgieron de la tierra, en un fenómeno que fue atribuido al espíritu del cacique. Desde entonces, se conocen las grandes virtudes terapéuticas de estas aguas cálidas que convirtieron al lugar en un centro termal de fama mundial.

Provincial circuit Route 82 to Cacheuta, Mendoza

Magnificent high mountain journey Route 82 surprises in a ride that, just 38 km away from the city of Mendoza, allows to go into the Andean foothills and enjoy relaxation, adventure and a privileged natural environment of mountain and river.

Some years ago, Cacheuta was part of the obligatory journey to cross Chile or arrive in Potrerillos and all its mountainous villas. Today, the provincial route 82 changed by combining natural enchantment with alternative services, making that each time more and more visitors choose the destination to plan an escape or their holidays. Natural, historical, cultural and tourist landmarks such as the Toma de los Españoles Dike (one of the first hydraulic works in Argentina), the Train Museum «Alejandrino Alfonso», the Hydroelectric Central Alvarez Condarco, the ruins of Fader s power plant (first hydroelectric project in Mendoza), the Thermas Hotel of Cacheuta 12

which combines the remains of the original hotel with its greatest reconstructed part-, the Hanging Bridge and, obviously, the thermal waters internationally renowned, are just some of the attractions that can surprise the tourist throughout this journey. A circuit with much potential The way towards Cacheuta has its compulsory pass through Blanco Encalada, where the slope to the river became famous with free and non free options that intent to develop a public beach, a proposal by the City Hall of Luján de Cuyo and Las Heras. At the same time, there is an important amount of restaurants, wine cellars, cottages, inns, tea rooms

with alfajores factories that even coexist with rafting and camping companies placed in steep mountains. Finally, where the way becomes a cul de sac, there appears the old Cacheuta, in the limit between Luján de Cuyo and Las Heras, in the west of the province. Relax, history and fun, together Cacheuta is a mountain town that has learned to defend itself and transform into a place with young identity that has bars, night clubs, concept restaurants and hundred of craftsmen that meet in the right place to use their imagination and make their creations. Little streets get into the town;

some of them are not wide enough for cars to pass so the only way to go through them is on foot. The train station is intact with the flora that makes it even more picturesque while the shops use rails and railroad tiles as a way of decoration. Music is a great protagonist in this place: a spa that allows to enjoy an afternoon full of relaxing massages while listening to reggae music. Following the lane almost opposite the station, behind an old mail door there appears Rock n Riel, a restaurant with an image perfectly combined between rock and the train history of Cacheuta. Rock bands nights and drinks make you feel like visiting the most famous bars in Mendoza placed on the other side of the hanging bridge called Giramundo. With a recycling consciousness, this mountain tavern conquers people of all ages in a relaxing and festive atmosphere. Naturally you cannot miss the picture at the historic and characteristic attraction of Cacheuta: the hanging bridge that lets you discover an impressive landscape and practise extreme sports such as bungee jumping. Cacheuta has a world wide famous thermal center. Relaxation and the medicinal benefits of these waters can be enjoyed not only in a luxurious 5- star hotel but also in the Thermal Waters Park that is exactly at the back part of the little town that has settled in Cacheuta. A comfortable swimming pool, another one conditioned with bubbles with an average temperature of 30º C (86º F), massage showers and space for picnics are some of the wonders that this park offers. Infraestructure Works that will benefit the destination By the end of 2017, the grand opening of a tunnel that will join the Provincial Route Nº 82 with the International Route Nº 7 over Potrerillos Dike is planned. In this sense, Guillermo Barletta, Tourism Director of the City Hall of Las Heras, remarked: «We understood that it is very important to get promoted like a corridor to keep on growing while we wait for the conclusion of a work that will be an emblem». Focusing on the tourist growth of the area, the director highlighted that they are working to have «a neat corridor, with accurate signs, with quality and diverse services, with accommodation, services and different experiences that let us generate a good economic activity while we wait for the opening of a tunnel that will be very positive for the place.»-

The place had to meet certain requirements: to have excellent services, to have impressive landscapes and to be absolutely romantic. My 40 years old arrived with the present of a desired trip. The escape lasted 4 days and 3 nights, a reasonable time to leave my daughters under the care of their grandparents for the first time and see how it turned out to be boyfriend and girlfriend again in a beautiful city of the Argentine south: Bariloche.

DIARIO DE VIAJE Y AMOR Una escapada, un regalo de cumpleaños, un recreo para dos y un lugar soñado. Desde la bella ciudad rionegrina, el diario de un viaje que enamora. - Texto y fotos por Marina Posse -

l lugar debía cumplir ciertos requisitos: tener excelentes servicios, contar con paisajes impresionantes y ser absolutamente romántico. Mis 40 años llegaron con el regalo de un viaje soñado. La escapada duró 4 días y 3 noches, tiempo razonable para dejar a mis hijas al cuidado de sus abuelos por primera vez y ver cómo resultaba esto de estar de novios en una bella ciudad del sur argentino: Bariloche.

DIA 1 DAY 1 Descanso, cervezas y más descanso Llegamos al hotel temprano. Fue una de las pocas nociones de tiempo que tuve durante toda la estadía. El lugar es soñado: sobre la Playa Bonita, en la costa del Lago Nahuel Huapi, se encuentra Charming Luxury Lodge & Private Spa, un complejo que cuenta con habitaciones ideales para parejas, con spa de uso privado y todas ellas con una vista excepcional. Roberto nos recibe con una copa de bienvenida y nos invita a disfrutar del lugar. Desde los miradores del hotel es posible admirar cómo las montañas apenas nevadas se funden con el azul del lago. The place is a dream: over Bonita Beach, on the coast of the Nahuel Huapi Lake, it is Charming Luxury Lodge & Private Spa, a complex that has ideal rooms for couples, with private spa and all of them with an exceptional view. sopla un viento más helado del que esperaba. Hoy el día fue de descanso: almuerzo tranquilo, una milagrosa siesta (esos placeres que ya no son cotidianos) y mate en la playa. Por la noche, salida a la típica Cervecería Blest en donde degustamos algunas de sus variedades: roja, negra, rubia y hasta una de frambuesa, que ellos denominan «el champán de las cervezas». Es una cervecería que exhibe con orgullo todo el proceso de elaboración. De aspecto europeo, se destaca su decoración, que incluye un auto antiguo en la entrada, barriles en el interior del local y paredes totalmente cubiertas con escritos de sus visitantes. Y de regreso al hotel, el regalo de dormir con el sonido del lago golpeando las pequeñas piedras de la orilla.

freezing than what I expected. Today it was a relaxing day: a calm lunch, a miraculous nap (those pleasures that are not daily any more) and mate on the beach. At night, the typical visit to Blest Brewery where we tasted some of their varieties: red, dark, pale and even one blueberry-flavored that they call «the champagne of the beers»-. It is a brewery that proudly shows all the manufacture process. With a European style, its decoration stands out, which includes an antique car at the entrance, barrels in the interior of the place and walls completely covered with writings of the visitors. And going back to the hotel, there was the gift of sleeping with the sound of the lake knocking the little stones of the shore.

DIA 2 DAY 2

Frío, gastronomía deliciosa y recorrida Amanecimos con sol, con una vista impresionante asomándose por nuestra ventana. Desayuno todopoderoso y enseguida salimos de recorrida. Con nuestro auto de alquiler, mapa en mano, llegamos a la base del Cerro Otto. En sus teleféricos, subimos los 2 km de trayecto hasta la cima. Cafecito y torta en la confitería giratoria, un clásico de Bariloche que me trae recuerdos de mi viaje de egresadas, y un millón de fotos de la vista que nos regala el lugar. A la hora del almuerzo, un recomendado de pastas sobre la playa Serena: Bahía Serena, un balneario pequeño que ofrece una bajada al lago para embarcaCold, delicious gastronomy and tour It is a sunny early morning, with a breathtaking view appearing through our window. ciones. Agnolotis de ciervo con salsa de hongos para mi marido, y ravioles de trucha con salsa de almendras para mí. Para cuando terminamos de comer, el cielo se había cubierto de nubes grises y decidimos dejar el Circuito Chico para mañana. Por la tarde, recorrimos el Centro Cívico, con la compra obligada de chocolates y souvenires varios y la sorpresa de encontrarme con una amiga de Chubut que paseaba esa tarde por Bariloche: excusa perfecta para tomar otro café con delicias dulces en Mamushka, uno de los lugares más tradicionales de la ciudad. Una lluvia fina y helada nos acompañó hasta el hotel, en donde terminamos la jornada con una cena para dos, romántica e íntima, con la única compañía del impresionante paisaje que se asomaba soberbio detrás del ventanal.

Con una reserva previa, es posible merendar en el jardín de invierno del hotel Llao Llao. El espacio es ideal para pasar allí la tarde, tomar un riquísimo té y degustar exquisiteces dulces y saladas mientras se disfruta de una inigualable vista.

the top of the hill by cable car. Coffee and cake at the revolving restaurant, a classic in Bariloche that brings me memories of my graduation trip, and a million pictures of the view that the place gives us. At lunchtime, recommended pastas on Serena beach: Bahía Serena, a small beach that offers a slope to the lake for boats. Deer agnoloti with mushroom sauce for my husband and trout ravioli with almond sauce for me. By the time we finished eating, the sky had been covered with grey clouds and we decided to leave the Small Circuit for the next day. In the evening, we toured around the Civic Center; we obligatorily bought chocolates and many souvenirs and we unexpectedly met a friend from Chubut who was hanging around Bariloche that afternoon. This was the perfect excuse for another coffee with sweet delicacies at Mamushka, one of the most traditional places in the city. A fine and freezing rain accompanied us up to the hotel, where we finished the day with a romantic and intimate dinner for two, with the only company of the impressive landscape that proudly showed up behind the large window.

With a previous reservation, it is possible to have tea in the winter garden of the hotel Llao Llao. The place is ideal to spend the afternoon there, drink a delicious tea and taste sweet and salted delicacies while you enjoy a unique view.

DIA 3 DAY 3 Paisajes soñados en Circuito Chico Cielo despejado, ideal para recorrer el denominado Circuito Chico, 60 kilómetros en donde la ciudad, bosques, lagos y montañas se integran en un sólo paisaje. Por la Avenida Bustillo, bordeando el lago Nahuel Huapi, nuestra primera parada es al pie del Cerro Campanario, donde esperamos para tomar la aerosilla que nos eleve los 1.049 metros hasta la cumbre. Desde ese escenario inigualable comienzo a escribir esta nota, con el viento frío en la piel, al abrigo de un sol potente que baña el paisaje de nieve y lago, de montaña y silencio. Todavía me cuesta desenchufarme del ritmo vertiginoso de mi rutina en Buenos Aires. Me gana la ansiedad de seguir por la ruta mirando paisajes. Pero acá la consigna es otra: nadie nos apura, entiendo que el reloj es sólo un accesorio decorativo en mi muñeca. Puedo darme el lujo de sentarme en este parador y escribir en un contexto único. Continuando el viaje, llegamos a la zona de Llao Llao, en donde se encuentra la bellísima Capilla San Eduardo y, sobre el lago Nahuel Huapi, el Puerto Pañuelo, punto de partida de las excursiones lacustres a isla Victoria, bosque de Arrayanes y Puerto Blest. Hacia el sur, se alza imponente el Hotel Llao Llao, a donde nos dirigimos para disfrutar de una completísima merienda en su jardín de invierno. Es un clásico hotel que

Dreamy landscapes in Small Circuit Cloudless sky, ideal to tour around the so called Small Circuit, 60 kilometers where the city, forests, lakes and mountains make up a sole landscape. On Avenue Bustillo, alongside Nahuel Huapi Lake, our first stop was at the foot of Campanario Hill, where we waited for the chair lift to take us 1,049 meters up to the top. I started writing this article from that exceptional stage, feeling the cold wind in my skin, under a powerful sun that soaks the landscape with snow and lake, mountain and silence. It is still quite difficult for me to get disconnected from my hectic routine in Buenos Aires. The desire of keeping on the route watching landscapes is stronger. However, the rule here is another one: there is no need to hurry up; I understand that the watch here is just a decorative accessory around my wrist. I can afford to sit down here and write in a unique context. Going on with the trip, we arrive at the area of Llao Llao, where the beautiful San Eduardo Chapel is, and over the Nahuel Huapi Lake, it is Pañuelo Port, the starting point of the lacustrine excursions to Victoria Island, Arrayanes Forest and Blest Port. In the south, the magnificent Llao Llao Hotel rises. We went there to enjoy a very complete afternoon tea in its winter garden. It is a classic hotel that impacts due to its beauty, where wood and stone are the queens, and offers exceptional visits. After the delicious tea, I wrap myself up and go walking around the immense green park. And I do understand why this hotel is so impressive: the surroundings are a luxury for the eyes, and I take advantage of this present to take gorgeous pictures, including the one that is the cover of this magazine. On the way back, we see Escondido Lake. In its dock, a group of young people are drinking mate and talking. You breathe peace here. There is no hurry or worry and you can understand why people live differently here. We continue traveling and go to Colonia Suiza, a historic town that has restaurants, camping sites, crafts stores and trout farms. En el camino de regreso, piedra libre para el Lago Escondido. En su muelle, un grupo de jóvenes toma mate y charla. Acá se respira paz. No hay apuros ni preocupaciones y uno puede comprender por qué la gente vive distinto. Seguimos viaje y nos internamos en Colonia Suiza, un poblado histórico que cuenta con restaurantes, campings, tiendas de artesanías y criaderos de truchas. Ya de vuelta en el hotel, descanso y ducha reparadora para salir más tarde a cenar. Hoy nos castigaremos en el restaurante El Patacón, el recomendado para saborear un exquisito cordero patagónico. Algo de nieve, mucha diversión y despedida Ya son las 5 de la tarde y vuelvo a escribir en un rato de relax obligado: nos atrasaron el vuelo de vuelta a casa y en el mirador del hotel espero la hora de partir. Me pregunto cómo transmitir en palabras lo que veo, ¿podrán al leer sentir algo de lo que yo estoy sintiendo? Intentaré: Son las últimas horas en las que el sol calienta fuerte en un día de primavera de cielo celeste, ni una nube se animó a asomarse hoy. La gente pobló la Playa Bonita. El cantar de un chimango posado en el árbol a mi lado es la única música que escucho. «Se llama Felipe, lo bautizamos así», me dice Laura, la camarera. «Viene siempre a buscar comida», cuenta. Y me acerca un pequeño trozo de carne para que le convide al pájaro. Felipe se acerca tímido a mi mano, toma la comida y vuelve a su lugar. Acá la naturaleza es parte del día a día, convive armoniosamente con los lugareños y turistas. Hay olor a verde nuevo, a primeros días cálidos. Hoy la jornada arrancó temprano y combinó diversión y paisaje alucinante. Desayunamos en el hotel y partimos al Cerro Catedral. Ya no queda casi nada de nieve pero pude darme el gusto de subir a la cima y hacer culipatín. Sé que alguna vez (y tan sólo tal vez) me animaré al ski. Mi viaje fue romántico, de esos que suman para recrear la vista, de mucho descanso y hasta alguna siesta. Fuimos a los puntos obligados y nos deleitamos con comida regional deliciosa. Seguro nos ha quedado mucho por conocer de una ciudad con atracciones infinitas; prometemos volver. Nos quedan las últimas horas de este mirador, de este paisaje que de tanto mirar hago mío, me lo llevo a casa hasta que vuelva, para compartirlo en escritos y en fotos y para que sea el bello recuerdo que me motive a siempre querer regresar. Some snow, much fun and farewell It is 5 pm already and I write again in a compulsory relaxing moment: the flight home was delayed and I wait for the time to leave at the hotel viewpoint. I wonder how to translate what I see into words, will readers feel something of what I am feeling when reading this? I ll try: they are the last hours when the sun rays are still strong in a spring day under a light blue sky, not even a cloud dared to come out today. People crowded Bonita Beach. The singing of a chimango perched on the tree by my side is the only music I can hear. «Its name is Felipe, we call it that way», Laura, the waitress, tells me. «It always comes for food», she adds. And she gives me a little piece of meat to invite the bird. Felipe shyly approaches my hand, takes the food and returns to its place. Here, nature is part of the every day life; it harmoniously coexists with the local people and tourists. You can smell a new green, the first warm days. Today, the day started early and combined fun with amazing landscape. We had breakfast at the hotel and headed for Catedral Hill. There was almost no snow but I managed to go up the peak and went culipatín. I know that once (and just maybe) I ll dare to ski. My trip was romantic, a gift for the eyes, much rest and even some nap. We went to the obligatory points and delighted with the delicious regional food. It is for sure that there is a lot to be known in a city with endless attractions; we promise to come back. These are the last hours in this viewpoint, in this landscape that after watching it so much I make it mine, I ll take it home until I come back again, to share it in my writings and in pictures and to be the beautiful memory that motivates me to always want to return. De secretos y leyendas El paseo contempla el paso por Los Antiguos, donde la apuesta por la naturaleza es fuerte y en donde se trabaja desde hace años para que los viajeros recalen y se sumerjan en la región. La unión de la RP 41 dentro del Corredor de la mítica ruta Nacional 40 también los conecta con la RP43, que es la que une a los lagos con la meseta y el mar en este nuevo Corredor del Viento, donde a mitad del recorrido son Las Heras y Pico Truncado las que reservan un alto en el camino. «El circuito M.A.R.A. (Museo Arqueológico Regional Austral) invita a revelar los secretos del viento entre los rastros de 28 cuevas con pinturas rupestres. Descubrir las leyendas que nos traen desde los ancestros los tehuelches, así como las historias de pioneros y huelguistas de nuestra Patagonia trágica -con los hechos ocurridos entre el verano del 1920 y el 21son parte de las propuestas para conocer», dice Exequiel Nichelle, director de Turismo de Pico Truncado. Un recorrido final inolvidable Hacia la costa, la ruta se despliega de asfalto y une a Caleta Olivia con Jaramillo y Fitz Roy, que invitan a conocer el Parque Nacional de los Bosques Petrificados. Se recomienda hacer a pie el circuito en estas localidades, que en diez puntos de interés revelan la historia de esos pueblos y las luchas de los peones que el escritor Osvaldo Bayer dio a conocer en su película «La Patagonia Rebelde». Está considerado actualmente como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la provincia de Corrientes, es Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación Argentina y goza del mismo tratamiento de Patrimonio Cultural en el sur y centro de Brasil, en especial en los estados de Rio Grande del Sur y Mato Grosso del Sur, donde por ley se estableció el 19 de septiembre como el «Día del Chamamé». «EL AMOR ENTRE UN LECTOR Y UN LIBRO NO SE PUEDE PROVOCAR»

En un encuentro con Cambio de Aire, el escritor argentino repasó sus comienzos con la pluma y analizó la relación que se da entre un libro y su lector. El autor de la novela en que se basó Juan José Campanella para hacer «El secreto de sus ojos» consideró que el éxito de esa película fue «algo mágico». -Por Melina Sólimo-

A poco tiempo de haber ganado el Premio Alfaguara que, según él, es «como el Oscar de la literatura», el autor de la novela «La pregunta de sus ojos» asegura que la suerte fue un factor esencial en su carrera. -¿Desde niño ya te interesaba escribir? -No, pero siempre me surgió leer. Recuerdo mi niñez dividida entre la pasión de salir al barrio a jugar con 30

mis amigos y volver a casa para leer. Creo que esa combinación me hizo muy bien porque no fui un pibe desconectado de la realidad, pero leí mucho. -¿Cómo ingresaste al mundo de la escritura? -De manera muy accidental, porque soy Licenciado en Historia y cuando iba a la universidad quería ser un académico, investigar y publicar artículos. Luego empecé a escribir cuentos como una manera de acomodar mis ideas, pensar en mis cosas, responderme preguntas personales, como algo catártico. Así empezó todo, casi sin la voluntad de que otros me leyeran, hasta

-¿Y qué hiciste? -Como algunos cuentos hablaban de fútbol, que es uno mis universos más habituales, en 1996 le llevé mis trabajos al periodista deportivo Alejandro Apo, que tenía un programa en Radio Continental en el que leía cuentos futboleros cada sábado e intentaba unir el fútbol con el arte. Eso fue un súper envión para mis cuentos y, gracias a la radio, las editoriales me conocieron y me dieron una oportunidad. Para el año 2000, cuando publiqué mi primer libro, ya había una cierta expectativa sobre mis trabajos. -¿Cómo llegó Juan José Campanella a inspirarse en tu novela para realizar la película «El secreto de sus ojos»? -«La pregunta de sus ojos» fue mi primera novela y también me lo tomé con mucha calma, porque Campanella venía leyendo mis cuentos y ya me ha-

Un sueño cumplido Eduardo Sacheri obtuvo el XIX Premio Alfaguara de Novela por «La noche de la usina», una historia que transcurre en Buenos Aires durante la crisis económica de 2001. «Ya me había presentado al concurso años anteriores y no había pasado nada, pero insistí porque es un premio muy valorado, es como el Oscar del mundo de los libros», reconoció el autor.

bía dicho que quería hacer un largometraje con alguno. Sin embargo, yo no le propuse la novela para que hiciéramos la película porque, a mi entender, el amor entre un lector y un libro no se puede provocar. Campanella compró la novela porque se enteró que había salido, la leyó y estableció un vínculo como lector, porque para que un director quiera hacer una película basada en un libro tiene que haber un amor de lector primero, sino, no funciona. -¿Por qué creés que fue un éxito? -Las razones son muy misteriosas. La historia estaba bien y se juntó gente muy profesional para hacer la película: el propio Campanella, los actores y el equipo técnico, era como un seleccionado de fútbol. A pesar de eso, creo que nunca está garantizado el éxito, quizás nos volvemos a juntar todos y no pasa lo mismo que pasó con «El secreto de sus ojos». Hay una zona de misterio, una vez que está contada la historia y está del lado del lector o espectador, sucede algo mágico, algo que se da o no se da y que es muy difícil de medir. -¿Quiénes son tus referentes? - Como lector, mis referentes y quienes me hicieron enamorar de los libros son Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Osvaldo Soriano, Mario Vargas Llosa y Ernesto Sábato. Remarco que son referentes como lector porque creo que, a la hora de escribir, uno tiene que sacarse de encima esas sombras gigantescas ya que si cuando uno se pone a escribir tiene a Borges en la cabeza, lo más probable es que se paralice porque nunca va a escribir como él. Hay que hacer lo que cada uno pueda o necesite, sin buscar recorrer el camino de otro porque sería una gran frustración. Creo que es muy importante no perder la espontaneidad y escribir siempre con una gran humildad. -

EDUARDO SACHERI «THE LOVE BETWEEN A READER AND A BOOK CANNOT BE PROVOKED» In a meeting with Cambio de Aire, the Argentine writer revised his beginnings with the pen and analyzed the relation between a book and its reader. The author on which Juan José Campanella was based to make «The secret in their eyes» considered that the success of that movie was «something magic».

With his slow and even pedagogical way of speaking, Eduardo Sacheri remembers what his beginnings were like, when writing was a personal catharsis. Shortly after winning the Alfaguara Prize, that according to him is «like the Oscar for Literature», the author of the novel «The question in their eyes» assures that luck was a key factor in his career. - Were you already interested in writing since you were a little boy? - No, but I always enjoyed reading. I remember my childhood divided between the passion of playing out with my friends and coming back home to read. I think that that combination made me so well because I wasn´t a boy disconnected to reality, however I read a lot. - How did you get into the literature world? - In a very accidental way, because I have a degree in History and when I went to College I wanted to be an academic, to investigate and publish articles. Later, I started writing short stories as a way of organizing my ideas, thinking about my things, answering some personal questions, like something cathartic. This is the way everything started, almost without the will of being read by others, until my wife and friends told me to do something with my works, 32

but the only idea of publishing them made me feel very embarrassed. - So what did you do? - Since some of my short stories talk about football, which is one of my most frequent universes, in 1996 I took my works to the sport journalist Alejandro Apo, who had a program on Continental Radio in which he read stories about football every Saturday and tried to mix football with art. This was such a great push for my tales and, thanks to the radio, publishers got to know me and gave me the chance. By 2000, when I published my first book, there already was certain expectation about my works. - How did Juan José Campanella got inspired by your novel to make the film «The secret in their eyes»? - «The question in their eyes» was my first novel and I took it easy, because Campanella was reading my short stories and he had already told me that he wanted to make a film with one of them. Yet, I didn´t propose the novel to turn it into a movie because, the way I see it, the love between a reader and a book cannot be provoked. Campanella bought the novel when he knew it had come out, he read it and formed a bond as reader; because for a director to feel like making a film based on a book there must be a reader love first, otherwise it doesn´t work.

- Why do you think it was such a big success? - The reasons are very mysterious. The story was good and highly professional people gathered to make the film: Campanella himself, the actors and the technical team, it was like a football team. In spite of that, I think that the success is never guaranteed, perhaps we get together again and it doesn´t happen the same as in «The secret in their eyes». There is a mystery zone, once the story is told and is on the reader or spectator´side; something magical happens, something happens or not and it is quite difficult to measure. - Who are your literary models? - As a reader, my models and who made me feel in love with books are Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Osvaldo Soriano, Mario Vargas Llosa and Ernesto Sábato. I remark that they are my models as a reader because I think that, when writing, you have to get rid of those gigantic shadows because if when you are writing you have Borges in your head, the most probable thing is that you get paralyzed since you are never going to write like him. You have to do what you can or need, without trying to go over other person´s way, otherwise it would be a great frustration. I think it is very important not to lose the spontaneity and always write with humbleness.-

l avance de la tecnología obliga a las grandes compañías a actualizarse para estar a la altura del nuevo escenario. Así lo entendió Christian Tienda, presidente de Tienda León: «Hace dos años empezamos a advertir el proceso de Uber en las grandes ciudades de EE.UU. y el efecto que la aplicación tenía en las empresas tradicionales de transporte de aquel país. Por ese motivo explica Christian-, quisimos adelantarnos a su llegada a Sudamérica y fuimos a buscar al proveedor del software. Para poner a funcionar la aplicación, necesitábamos un soporte y canal adecuado, por lo que elegimos a Movistar». Así nació esta alianza estratégica con la empresa de telefonía celular, con el objetivo de modernizar y optimizar el servicio que ofrece la compañía líder en el traslado de pasajeros aeroportuarios. Con esta unión, Tienda León hizo una renovación tecnológica y reemplazó su antiguo sistema de radios por equipos smartphones con tecnología 4 G.

Es una asignación de viajes a demanda, en tiempo real, lo que le garantiza al chofer un trayecto optimizado. El responsable de la compañía de transportes explica que «con esta aplicación se evita el cuello de botella del call center en horarios pico. Con el GPS de los celulares se determina la ubicación de los clientes y de los choferes, se buscan los dos puntos más cercanos y se asigna el viaje. ¿Cuáles son los beneficios? Básicamente, el acuerdo va a facilitar la asignación de viajes para los clientes. A partir de ahora, también se podrá contratar el servicio de traslado mediante esta nueva aplicación para celulares, además de poder seguir haciéndolo por las vías tradicionales, como en los stands de venta de Tienda León ubicados en los aeropuertos, desde la página web de la empresa o bien llamando al call center. Asimismo, el nuevo sistema brindará a Tienda León la posibilidad de administrar remotamente toda la flota de equipos desde una consola centralizada, sin obstaculizar la experiencia del usuario. Otro ítem destacable es la seguridad, tanto para el chofer como para el pasajero. Gracias a la aplicación, ya no será necesario contar con efectivo para pagar el viaje sino que se podrá abonar con MercadoPago y con tarjeta de crédito. «La idea es que el pasajero no tenga que tocar su billetera y que todos los gastos (trayecto, peajes, etc.) se le debiten al finalizar el trayecto». Transporte aéreo premium Tienda León está trabajando para brindar un servicio exclusivo para clientes diferenciales. Para fines de este año se prevé que estará lista la construcción de un helipuerto en la sede de la empresa ubicada en Puerto Madero. Allí tendrá lugar un hangar para 20 helicópteros privados y se pondrá en funcionamiento un servicio con helicópteros propios para realizar el traslado hacia y desde el Aeropuerto de Ezeiza, en un trayecto de vuelo de tan sólo 8 minutos.

Para esto, también se implementará una aplicación celular brindada por la empresa Movistar, similar a la que está funcionando hoy con los remises. ay un lugar en donde la historia traspasa los tiempos de relojes, en donde el testimonio de otra época se mantiene vivo en el presente. Es un lugar misterioso, romántico, único en Buenos Aires. Y existe en Lobos. Testimonio de otro tiempo En Estancia La Candelaria vale imaginar, cerrar los ojos y viajar en las palabras de Antonio, el guía que nos lleva en su relato a los inicios de todo. Fue en el año 1840 cuando un médico farmacéutico llamado Orestes Piñeiro adquirió los primeros lotes de la tierra que en 1890 formaría la estancia, bautizada La Candelaria en honor a su mujer, María Candelaria del Mármol.

Tuvieron una hija adoptiva, Rebeca, quien conoció en 1890 al que años después sería su marido y el impulsor de la creación del castillo, Manuel Fraga, un reconocido hombre de aquella época. En uno de sus viajes a Francia, Manuel vio un castillo en el valle del río Loire y quedó impactado, por lo que contrató en 1894 al arquitecto francés Albert Favre para que construyera una réplica del mismo en su campo. 10 años después, la obra estaría terminada, aunque hasta el año 1920 siguieron invirtiendo en el mobiliario, luminaria, decoración y en todos los detalles que hoy están a la vista del visitante. De estilo ecléctico, francés en la fachada y nórdico-europeo en sus torres, el edificio fue construido con materiales casi todos traídos de Europa. Muchos de los muebles ya eran antiguos al momento de ser comprados. Se destacan sus pisos de madera y mármol de carrara, las fastuosas arañas de cristal de Murano, sus paredes forradas en brocato de seda, descansos iluminados por vitraux franceses y un increíble juego de comedor de estilo renacentista que tiene más de 270 años de antigüedad.

Un dato llamativo es la idea de arquitectura con la que se construyó el castillo: está inmerso en medio del parque, lejos del alcance de la vista de los que ingresan a la estancia, y lo que parece ser el frente es en realidad su parte lateral. Fraga buscaba sorprender a sus invitados, quienes llegaban sin saber de la existencia de semejante obra y quedaban impactados cuando la descubrían en algún momento de la estadía. El parque y los jardines merecen un capítulo aparte: fueron diseñados por el botánico y paisajista Carlos Thays, con 250 especies de árboles emplazados en el lugar ya de adultos, por lo que son aún más antiguos que el castillo. El entorno natural es inigualable: araucarias, casuarinas, pinos, eucaliptos y palmeras son tan sólo algunos de los ejemplares que se elevan entre estatuas, glorietas, pequeños puentes y una capilla soñada, en donde descansan los restos de los protagonistas de esta historia. De las 12.000 hectáreas de aquella época, hoy son 240 las que forman parte de la estancia; el resto fue vendiéndose con los años.

La perla escondida Sin dudas, el castillo es la vedette del lugar. Si bien su construcción fue pensada para el disfrute familiar, el propósito de peso de Fraga fue lograr un lugar exclusivo en donde poder organizar banquetes y fiestas para invitar a personalidades importantes de la época, principalmente de la política. De esta forma, podía hacer contactos productivos para llevar a cabo sus negocios de ganadería con mayor fluidez.

El encanto de una estancia de principios de siglo En los 90, la estancia fue abierta al turismo y es posible disfrutar del lugar como lo hacían los adinerados de antaño. Se puede pasar el día o alojarse y disfrutar también la noche. Para dormir, hay varias opciones: hospedarse en las habitaciones coloniales (de estilo campestre y las más antiguas del lugar, donde residían Orestes y Candelaria), en alguno de Cambio de Aire| 37

los dos bungalows independientes ubicados en la entrada del bosque, en la exclusiva Suite del Molino enclavada en medio del parque, o bien en alguna de las 10 habitaciones de estilo europeo dentro del castillo, habilitadas sólo para adultos. La idea es desenchufarse y conectarse con la naturaleza. Para quienes vivimos en las grandes ciudades, ese es el desafío y la promesa. No hay tele en ningún cuarto, ni radio, ni ningún otro aparato electrónico que nos remita a nuestra vida diaria. El día transcurre en el verde y la noche allí es reina: cerrada, oscura y silenciosa, llena de estrellas y empapada de rocío, coronada por el sonido de los pájaros que son los únicos protagonistas. La fiesta gaucha, llena de tradición y diversión, tiene lugar los días sábados y consta de tres actividades: una charla histórica en la visita al castillo, un show folclórico durante el almuerzo (que siempre es asado, claro) y un show de destrezas gauchas con los caballos. La pensión es completa, el asado de los sábados arranca con una recepción de empanadas y los domingos al mediodía se disfruta del delicioso pollo al disco. En la cena, hay dos menúes a elección con entrada, plato principal, postre y una bebida sin alcohol incluida. Los desayunos y meriendas, ideales para golosos: tortas, panes, budines, medialunas y los infaltables pastelitos de membrillo y batata, todo casero. Es posible realizar cabalgatas y paseos en sulky, recorrer el predio en bicicletas o tomar alguna de las clases de polo que brinda el lugar para todas las edades y niveles de juego. Hay canchas de tenis, vóley y fútbol, mesas de ping pong y pool, y en verano, una piscina descubierta para disfrutar a pleno sol. Para escaparse y perderse en otro tiempo. Para conectarse con uno mismo. Para lograr un viaje mental lejano, a tan sólo una hora y veinte minutos de la gran ciudad.38

There is a place where history goes through time, where the testimony to other epoch keeps alive in the present. It is a mysterious, romantic and unique place in Buenos Aires. And it exists in Lobos. Testimony to other time At the Ranch House La Candelaria, you can use your imagination, close your eyes and travel through Antonio´s words, the tour guide who takes us at the beginning of everything with his stories. In 1840, a pharmacist named Orestes Piñeiro purchased the first lands, which, in 1890, became the ranch house baptized the ranch La Candelaria in honor of his wife, María Candelaria del Mármol. Its wooden floor and Carrara marble, magnificent Murano glass chandeliers, its walls wrapped in silk brocade, landings lit by French vitraux and a 270-year-old amazing Renaissance dining room set really stand out.

The hidden pearl Undoubtedly, the castle is the star of the place. Although its construction was intended for the family pleasure, Fraga´s purpose was to get an exclusive place where to organize banquets and feasts with the aim of inviting important personalities of the time, mainly those connected to politics. This way, he managed to have productive contacts to develop his cattle industry business more fluently. An outstanding piece of information is the architectural idea with which the castle was built: it is placed in the middle of the park, far away from the view of those who enter the ranch house, and what seems to be the front is in fact its lateral part. Fraga wanted to surprise his guests, who arrived without knowing the existence of such a piece of work and got astonished when they found it in any moment of the stay. The park and gardens deserve a whole new chapter: they were designed by the botanist and landscape architect Carlos Thays, with 250 adult tree species located in the place, that is why they are much older than the castle itself. The natural environment is unique: araucarias, casuarinas, pines, eucalyptus and palm trees are just some specimen that rise among statues, bandstands, small bridges and a magnificent chapel, where the protagonists remains of this story rest. Only 240 hectares, out of 12,000 hectares of that time, are part of the ranch house today, the rest was gradually sold.

Ana, casada con Pedro (a quien todos apodan «el Toto») es una abogada jubilada que hoy se dedica a sus 5 pequeños nietos y que festejó sus 70 años en La Candelaria. «Fue un regalo de mis hijos Santiago, Ana Inés y Mercedes. Hace mucho tiempo que queríamos pasar un día en familia y siempre lo postergábamos por razones laborales de uno u otro, hasta que finalmente pudimos coincidir. El lugar es maravilloso, la atención del personal es impecable, siempre estuvieron a nuestra disposición. Me voy contentísima, porque tuvimos un fin de semana juntos en familia, y porque creo que es muy necesario para los que vivimos en la ciudad, tener de vez en cuando un cable a tierra como éste». Ana, married to Pedro (nicknamed «el Toto»), is a retired lawyer who today is devoted to her five grandchildren and celebrated her 70th birthday at La Candelaria. «It was a birthday present by my son Santiago and my daughters Ana Inés and Mercedes. It´s been such a long time that we wanted to spend a day together with the family and we always postpone it for labor reasons, since we finally manage to coincide. The place is fabulous, the staff´s attention is perfect, and it was always at our disposal. I am leaving so happy because we had a weekend together as a family, and because I think that it is necessary for those who live in the city, to get away from it all from time to time».
