XXI CENTURY We are facing a paradigm shift in the way distribute and buy music, the big companies they cling to old codes and the structures begin to wobble ... but this is not new this happens since the new millennium. And the small seals have proliferated and a quantity untold gangs and artists stormed the networks social to promote. As I said before, the amount is incalculable and incomprehensible, more if we take into account that many artists edit and They launch their products independently. If we add the latter, the amount increases considerably. In the Universe of independent labels, or who try to subsist autonomously we can find stamps specialized in particular styles of music and this is what we want to show in "Netlabels". But we want to present it from its latest releases, with the idea that the interested party seeks and finds out about these stamps or netlabels.

SHORE DIVE RECORDS
Today we present the label Shore Dive Records, managed by Nicolas Pierre Wardell. So that he himself tells us about the seal we have communicated so that in his words he introduces us to Shore Dive Records. Hello Nico, Thanks for answering these questions that we will serve to present Shore Dive Records. How and when is the label born? About a year ago I started my Xeresa project and released an album through Vesper Records. The owner of Vesper Records, who shall remain nameless, was a prominent figure in the shoegaze groups on facebook. He offered to release my album. After a few months it dawned that he was not who he said he was at all, he was out on bail for possession of child pornography and about to go to jail. He then dissapeared.I begged with bandcamp to release me off the label. I didn't want my music to fund someone like him. That convinced me that I really ought to do it all by myself so I decided to start a label. Primarily to release my stuff but hopefully some other stuff too. So the label started in december with the release of 40 Moons Project by Beatastic. Is there a musical style that defines the label? I guess the idea is to be along the lines of things I like and I like a lot of things but I guess the main vibe is shoegaze/iindie/metal/dreampop/psychedelic/ electronic etc... If I like it and the people don't seem to be utter dickheads, I'll release it.

Then I will post the last four or five records published by the label. Is there something new you are about to release? So far we have released Beatastic's album, which is me doing everything, in a kind of shoegaze/post punk style. Werebeast which is a crust punk/industrial metal crossover by Nick Rocks. Kinda like Nailbomb/Slayer. Just a single so far. The Mwydu from wales, an electronic project by Kelvyn Williams, all song titles in Welsh. That was an EP. The second album by Xeresa which is also my project, I do 95% of the instrumental tracks and sing on a couple of songs, the others feature musical guests. The last release is a collection of the last 4 EPs by Phil Wilson's The Raft. Cocteau Twins/ Stone Roses/ The Sundays kinda vibe. We try to release limited edition cds, handmade. Werebeast - Stop The Rot Release date: 07 Junuary 2018 This is the debut single of the punk / metal / industrial team Werebeast. 2 songs fed with political poison. Everything done by Nick Rocks.
Mwydu - Ymyriadau Effeithiol Wrecsam (Gales) Release date: 14 April 2018 The EP was created over a period of four months and was mainly carried out at the end of February and the beginning of March. The inspiration came from the hard rock albums of the 70s with appropriate rhythms, the atmosphere of living in a small coastal city where not much happens, the improvisation of seeing what happens when you distort electronic drum software, bass lines and atmospheres dark.
Xeresa - II Brighton (England) Release date: 16 July 2018. Xeresa is another project by Nico that mixes electronic rhythms, glitchy, guest vocalists, shoegaze guitars, clean guitars in an unusual F # Maj 7 open tune giving the compositions a distinctive, open sound, diffuse bass lines and keyboard melodies.
7 The Raft - The Jellyfish E.P.s Neston (UK) Release date: 25 August 2018 Phil Wilson has been recording and acting under the name of The Raft since 2003. Influenced by giants such as The Stone Roses, The Beatles, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, The Beta Band, The Sundays, Ride and many more he has recorded ten albums. and a handful of EPs like The Raft to date. The Jellyfish is a collection of the last 4 EPs of The Raft.
