Passam pelo Aeroporto de Guarulhos, diariamente, 105 mil passageiros. São pessoas chegando de voos de diversos lugares do país e de todos os cantos do mundo. Para muitos, o primeiro contato ao atravessar os portões das áreas de desembarque é com a Guarucoop, a cooperativa de motoristas que oferece serviço de táxi especial, desde 1985, mesmo ano de inauguração do aeroporto.

Para garantir o melhor atendimento possível a estes passageiros, hoje a Guarucoop dispõe de uma frota de mais de 780 carros e, aproximadamente, 1500 motoristas, operando 24 horas por dia, sete dias por semana. Para os turistas estrangeiros, a cooperativa conta ainda com motoristas e também recepcionistas bilíngues em todos os seus balcões de atendimento.

Outra comodidade que a Guarucoop oferece são as corridas com preço tabelado. Ou seja, o passageiro sabe exatamente quanto custará a sua viagem do aeroporto até o seu destino final, sem ter que pagar nada a mais ao fim do percurso, mesmo que por fatores externos, como congestionamentos, o tempo seja maior do que o planejado.

“Nestes 31 anos, a Guarucoop vem trabalhando constantemente no aprimoramento de seus taxistas cooperados e profissionais, cujos serviços se tornaram referência entre clientes e parceiros.

Reconhecimento que também já nos rendeu importantes premiações, inclusive internacionais,” diz Edmilson Americano, presidente da Guarucoop.

About 105 thousand passengers pass daily through Guarulhos Airport. Some are people arriving flights from around the country but much are also from all over the world. For many, the first contact when crossing the gates of the landing areas is to Guarucoop, a cooperative drivers offering special taxi service since 1985, the same year the airport opened.

To ensure the best possible care to those passengers, Guarucoop now has a fleet of over 780 cars and approximately 1,500 drivers, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For foreign tourists, the cooperative also has bilingual drivers and receptionists in all its passengers service counters.

Another feature that Guarucoop offers are the races with fixed price. It means that the passenger knows exactly how much his trip will cost from the airport to his final destination, without having to pay anything else to the end of the route, even by external factors such as traffic jams, traffic accident or if the time was higher than normally be expected for exemple.

“In these 31 years, the Guarucoop is constantly working to improve its cooperative and professional taxi drivers, whose services have become reference among customers and partners. Recognition that also has earned us some important awards, including international awards,” says Edmilson Americano, Guarucoop’s president.

A boa notícia é que saber manusear a sua máquina e ter noções básicas de fotografia é mais importante do que o valor e a marca do equipamento.

Com a ajuda do fotógrafo profissional, Lee Oliveira, preparamos um manual para deixar as suas fotos parecidas com aquelas dos guias de turismo.

The picture is blurred, with elements cut off and without grace. The good news is that knowing to handle your machine and have basics of photography is more important than the value and brand of your equipment.

With the help of professional photographer Lee Oliveira, we prepared a guide to make your pictures similar with those of tour guides.

Pressione rapidamente o botão de disparo.

Na sequência, ouvirá um aviso sonoro ou identificará uma luz avisando que a câmera encontrou o foco. Daí e só apertar o botão completamente para evitar as temidas fotos borradas.

Quickly press the shutter button. Following, you will hear a beep or identify a light warning that the camera has found focus. Then you only need to completely press the button to avoid the dreaded blurry photos.

Atenção ao enquadramento Attention to the framework

Encontre um bom ângulo para a sua foto. Use a famosa regra dos terços ou grade. Imagine que a imagem está sendo cortada por duas linhas verticais e duas horizontais. Foque em um dos pontos de encontro destas linhas, pois são onde nossos olhos se atentam mais. Se for tirar foto com o iPhone, o caminho para ativar o recurso da grade é: Configurações > Câmera > Grade. No Android é necessário baixar um aplicativo que realize esta função.

Find a good angle to your photo. Use the famous rule of thirds or grid. Imagine that the image is being cut by two vertical and two horizontal lines. Focus on one of the meeting points of these lines, because there are where our eyes get more attention. If you are taking pictures with your iPhone, the way to activate the grid feature is: Settings > Camera > Grid.

Em julho foi inaugurada em São Paulo, no bairro da Vila Olímpia e da Vila Nova Conceição, a terceira maior franquia de hambúrgueres do mundo.

A rede de fast-food Wendy’s chega ao Brasil por intermédio da empresa Infinity Services, que é comandada pelo CEO Marcel Gholmieh.

Sobre escolher São Paulo para introduzir a marca, Marcel afirma: “A necessidade de comer bem por um preço justo nos fez apostar que o país, mais especificamente São Paulo, será para a rede um dos maiores mercados que já tiveram. Além disso, escolhemos a cidade para dar início ao projeto porque é a capital gastronômica e financeira do país.”

A marca já é um sucesso: em 14 de julho, dia em que abriu as portas, o restaurante da Rua Funchal, Vila Olímpia, recebeu cerca de 1500 pessoas, das 7h às 0h.

Quer investir em uma franquia internacional e trazê-la ao Brasil? Marcel conta os bastidores.

“Estude bem o mercado que deseja atuar. O nosso projeto teve 4 anos de pesquisas e investimentos até aterrissar no Brasil. Fizemos muitos testes para atender às expectativas dos nossos consumidores e até mudanças para nos adequarmos ao público local.”

Há mais de três décadas no país e com uma paixão avassaladora pelo Brasil, o chefe-celebridade, Olivier Anquier, fala sobre gastronomia, carreira e planos para o futuro For more than three decades in country and a overwhelming passion for Brazil, the chief and celebrity, Olivier Anquier, speaks about gastronomy, career and plans for his future.

Amid the rush of the big city, the Revista Tour team took a break to go to the modern time, but at the same time classic and cozy: L’Entrecôte d’Olivier. The restaurant in the neighborhood of Itaim Bibi, was the chosen environment to hear the interesting stories of the Frenchman who is a chef, baker, entrepreneur, writer, television presenter and ex-model, Olivier Anquier, the owner of the place.

During a question and another, Olivier asks to interrupt the talk a few times. In one of those, he makes sure to say goodbye to a group of friends who was visiting the restaurant. In another, he asks the client when her baby will born. Also, it was keen to sign copies of his new book that were sold in the restaurant during the interview.

A relação com as pessoas faz parte da minha personalidade. Eu gosto dessa proximidade. O que me diferencia de outros artistas é que faço parte da família brasileira”.

“The relationship with people is part of my personality. I like this proximity. What sets me apart from other artists is that I am part of the Brazilian family.”

How did you find out that led way in the kitchen?

I was forced (he laughs)! My father carried a philosophy that seeks the pleasures that the timing of food can provide. So, every Sunday my father was responsible for the lunch. To help him, I peeled potatoes, garlic, and so forth. We hated it. Years later I found out that this obligation has become a pleasure.

What cooking means for you today?

É o menu único servido no Restaurante L’Entrecôte. Um corte de carne bovina nobre tipicamente francês com molho, que é segredo do chef, e batata frita à vontade.

“Na história da cultura francesa, um domingo por mês a mãe tem obrigação de preparar este prato. A diferença de uma mãe para a outra é o segredo do seu molho. Fui um dos responsáveis por trazer esta tradição ao Brasil”.

It is the exclusive menu served at L’Entrecôte restaurant. A cut of prime beef typically French with sauce, which is chief’s secret with fries at will.

“In the history of French culture, one Sunday a month the mother is obliged to prepare this dish. The difference between a mother and the other is the secret of her sauce.

I was one of those responsible for bringing this tradition to Brazil. “ Quando indagado sobre o sucesso do restaurante, apesar de servir um único prato, responde: “Bife com batata frita é universal. Todo mundo gosta”!

When asked about the success of the restaurant, though serving a single dish, he responds: “Steak with fries is universal. Everybody likes it”!

Em meio à correria da grande metrópole, a equipe da Revista Tour deu uma pausa para ir ao moderno, mas ao mesmo tempo clássico e aconchegante: L’Entrecôte d’Olivier. O restaurante, no Bairro do Itaim Bibi, foi o ambiente escolhido para ouvir as envolventes histórias do francês que é chef de cozinha, padeiro, empresário, escritor, apresentador de televisão e ex-modelo, Olivier Anquier, o proprietário do local.

No decorrer de uma pergunta e outra, Olivier pede para interromper algumas vezes a conversa.

Em uma delas, faz questão de se despedir de um grupo de amigas que foi visitar o restaurante.

Em outra, pergunta à cliente quando nasce seu bebê. Além disso, fez questão de autografar os exemplares do seu novo livro que foram vendidos no restaurante durante a entrevista.

Como descobriu que levava jeito na cozinha?

Fui forçado (risos)! Meu pai carregava uma filosofia que busca os prazeres que o momento da culinária pode proporcionar.

Então, todos os domingos meu pai era responsável pelo almoço.

Para ajudá-lo, descascava batata, alho, etc. A gente odiava. Anos depois descobri que esta obrigação se tornou um prazer.

O que representa cozinhar para você hoje?

Dar continuidade à filosofia da minha família.

Qual prato você mais gosta de cozinhar?

Entrecôte com batata frita.

Nas suas andanças gastronômicas, qual a situação mais inusitada que já vivenciou?

O primeiro programa de televisão do Diário de Olivier, em 1998, no vale do Paraíba. Lá descobri o Içá, que é uma formiga comestível. Ela é deliciosa.

Tem gosto de amendoim.

Na sua opinião, você fez mais sucesso como chef de cozinha, apresentador, escritor ou ex-modelo?

Na verdade foi como padeiro. O trabalho que realizei, a partir de 1994, quebrando a monotonia da panificação é um orgulho grande que tenho.

Um orgulho até maior que a culinária.

O que São Paulo tem de diferente gastronomicamente dos outros lugares pelos quais já passou?

Além de ser um polo de negócios nacional e internacional, aqui acontece o maior trânsito de turistas do Brasil. Por não ter praias, por exemplo, você precisa compensar de alguma forma. Com certeza em São Paulo pode-se encontrar a maior variedade gastronômica do Brasil.

In its culinary wanderings, what is the most unusual situation that you had experienced?

The first television program Diário de Olivier (Olivier’s Journal) in 1998 in the Vale do Paraiba.

A mecânica do festival será realizada da seguinte forma: cada restaurante criará um prato ou menu especial, que será oferecido a preço promocional, no próprio estabelecimento, durante o período do evento. Todos os restaurantes participantes farão a doação de R$ 1,00 por prato vendido ao Centro de Recuperação de Paralisia Infantil e Cerebral de Guarujá.

Este ano, uma das novidades é o aplicativo do festival, que se chama Sabores do Guarujá. Ele levará informações sobre o evento diretamente ao smartphone ou tablet, permitindo ao público acessar todas as novidades e informações. O aplicativo, disponível para os sistemas IOS e Android, também facilita a interação das pessoas, que poderão participar de uma promoção com as melhores fotos relacionadas ao festival.

If you are a connoisseur of good food and you love the coast, you can now celebrate.

From September 7 to October 16 will be held the 7th Guaruja Gastronomic Festival.

This edition will have a record amount of participating restaurants, it will be about 34, to suit all tastes and prices. The menus starts at R$69,90 (serves two).

The Festival’s dynamic will be held as follows: each restaurant will create a dish or special menu that will be offered for promotional price in its own property during the period of the Festival. All participating restaurants will make a donation of R$ 1,00 per dish sold to Centro de Recuperação de Paralisia Infantil e Cerebral de Guarujá (Infantile and Brain Paralysis Recovery Center of Guaruja).

This year, one of the novelties is the festival’s app, which is called Sabores do Guarujá. It will bring information about the event directly to your smartphone or tablet, allowing the public to access all the news and information. The app, available for iOS and Android systems also facilitates the interaction of the people who will be able to participate in a promotion with the best pictures related to the Festival.

Yoke procession In the most bohemian and religious neighborhood of city, the gorging extends to the Church of Nossa Senhora da Achiropita, the patron of Bixiga.

Founded by Italian immigrants in 1926, the church is the venue of the largest Italian festival in Brazil. Throughout the month of August, in honor of the saint, they pray novenas, masses and of course a party with lots of food.

There are thirty tents, distributed along the Rua Treze de Maio st, which sell Italian delicacies as gnocchi, fogazza, pizza and pasta. Every year, about 200,000 people go through there. The funds raised are passed on to charities maintained by the church.

Procissão do garfo No bairro mais boêmio e ao mesmo tempo mais religioso da cidade, a comilança se estende até a Igreja Nossa Senhora da Achiropita, a padroeira do Bixiga.

Fundada por imigrantes italianos em 1926, a igreja é o palco da maior festa italiana no Brasil. Durante todo o mês de agosto, em homenagem à santa, são realizadas novenas, missas e é claro uma festa com muita comida.

São trinta barracas, distribuídas ao longo da Rua Treze de Maio, que comercializam delícias italianas, como nhoque, fogazza, pizza e macarrão. Todo ano, cerca de 200 mil pessoas passam por lá. Os recursos arrecadados são repassados para as entidades beneficentes mantidas pela igreja.
