Love is …

1Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited; does not act improperly; is not selfish; is not provoked; does not keep a record of wrongs; finds no joy in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for languages, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.

God is theAlpha and the Omega, and since He is love, and love neverending, love can never end. We are assured that all other things will pass away except Him and His beloved bride, the church.

If we want to know the character of God, then we should read the above passage closely as Paul has been very specific about the nature of love: bears, believes, hopes and endures. This is our merciful God as He presented Himself to us in the person of Jesus Christ.

God in Jesus Christ is not provoked, but deeply in love which was best demonstrated on the cross. On it He loved us to death ...

In the beginning God not only created the light and the darkness; He is the light! Fear Him! Seek Him out!

The Light of God is spiritual, but it behaves like a solid.

The Light of God that IS God is not a metaphor; it is itself a real thing. It is wholly mysterious. Its empirical evidence is the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Light of God is a stronghold, a fortress against enemies of the kingdom.

The Light of God purifies and saves us; it burns away the evil and the darkness which clings to us like a spiritual cancer.

The Light of God is a force field; it shields us from harm and cannot be penetrated by any darkness or unclean thing.
