There is a plan
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you" -[this is] the Lord's declaration-"plans for [your] welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Have you ever heard the joke about telling God what you have planned? Wait for it … wait for it … there you go; you have it. What could possibly be more ridiculous than telling God about the plans you have made (the ones that He already had planned)!
Most of us think we have something over on God; that He may not know about the latest change in our itinerary. Now, that’ s funny!
What isn’t funny is that we make the vast majority of our plans without letting God into our decision-making process. On the surface, it would seem prudent to at least take into consideration the thoughts of the original Planner.
We should consult Our Lord as we make plans, as we revise our plans, and also as we conclude and execute our plans. Rather than an afterthought or a second opinion, God should be the first One we consider and the last One we consult.

Israel’s promise
Jeremiah 29:14 I will be found by you"-the Lord's declaration-"and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and places where I banished you"-the Lord's declaration. "I will restore you to the place I deported you from."
This prophecy is being fulfilled as we speak. And it could not have been clearer than when Prime Minister Netanyahu called for European Jews to return en masse to Israel in 2015 in the aftermath of terrorist bombings in Europe.
Granted, European leaders rejected this plea; but it was clear that Israel was beckoning to her scattered population. Furthermore, it is not just a gathering of scattered peoples, but a restoration of fortune and former prosperity … all to glorify God and to fulfill His promises.
Every believer, Jew or Gentile, should be heartened by this. It reminds us all that while we may forget God, He does not forget His promises.
