meditations for an everyday relationship with Jesus
I am with you always
Isaiah 46:4 I will be the same until your old age, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will bear and save you.

Matthew28:19-20 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Philippians 1:6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Sometimes the best way, sometimes the only way, to showcase Scriptural continuity is to allow it to speak for itself and to itself. In that way God is wrapping the whole of the Bible around us like a blanket of security and truth.
Who is a man that does not lie?
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man who lies, or a son of man who changes His mind. Does He speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?
God is the only one we can trust not to lie about the important things. If we should come to a place where we say that God is untruthful (lying) then we have lost all hope and all cause for it.
Thankfully this is only rumination, and not a fact. God is not a man for all men lie. God cannot lie because all truth and light is in Him.
What has God said that has not been a promise or the fulfillment of one? Not one thing! All of God’s words are promises of hope.
