meditations for an everyday relationship with Jesus
Inheritance to the sons

We find Jesus embedded in all Scripture. There is no word uttered that does not glorify Him. We may not recognize the reference or discern the meaning, but we must rest assured that God has a plan that makes us of every word and of every word removed. In this way the Bible is not without inherent human error, but is created to incorporate it.
We are children of Light, sons and daughters of the Most High! Make no mistake, we have inherited the very being and Spirit of Christ Jesus! We have received His very image: it is emblazoned on our DNA. We are holy because He is holy. We are kingdom property, yes ...but we are also heirs to it. How many servants inherit the kingdom? Only those who serve Christ.
He will not leave you; you will return
Deuteronomy 4:29–31 But from there, you will search for the Lord your God, and you will find [Him] when you seek Him with all your heart and all your soul.
When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will return to the Lord your God in later days and obey Him. He will not leave you, destroy you, or forget the covenant with your fathers that He swore to them by oath, because the Lord your God is a compassionate God.
In the end, you and I can only have what we truly desire. All else will be cast off like old rags. Or it will be wiped away like dust from the roads we have traveled.
If we desire God we will return to Him in due time. We are drawn to Him like a magnet draws steel unto itself. If we do not desire this, if we are not magnetic, there is no hope, whatsoever. We will fall away, oxidize and disappear. Only the magnet will remain.
If we choose to be steel, we are involuntarily drawn to the magnet which is God; if we presume to also be magnets, then it is very likely that we will be repelled by the greater magnet, and we will repel it.
