Grants

Scholarships
Scholarships are considered “gift” aid and do not need to be repaid. Students apply for scholarships annually during the open application period from December 1–March 1. Visit reynolds.edu/scholarships or email scholarships@reynolds.edu to get started.
Loans
Loan money must be repaid. For that reason, we encourage you to look at all your other options first and borrow only what is needed.
Reynolds Community College participates in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, offered through the Department of Education. Federal Stafford loans are low-interest, long-term loans. In addition, parental loans and private loans may also be available. Visit reynolds.edu/financialaid and click on Types of Aid to get started.
Work Study
The Federal Work Study program provides part-time jobs for students with financial need, allowing you to earn money to help pay education expenses. Our program encourages community service work and work related to each student’s course of study. For more visit reynolds.edu/workstudy.
