RACE 2 – TUESDAY 23rd July 2013
AQUATHLON – RACE 3 An enormous ‘well done’ to everyone that attended race 3 of the Aquathlon race series. The majority of people opted for the shorter race distance tonight and with the warmest water temperature I have known at Ham in years a few people even tried swimming non-wetsuit. These Aquathlons are ‘Training Races’ and trying non-wetsuit is exactly why we call them ‘training races’. The temperature was perfect, maybe even too warm on the run, but a great night for a tough session! Aquathlon is a relatively unknown multisport event, but it is a sport in it’s own right and even has it’s own World Championship. Running immediately after a swim is a difficult skill to master and we hope these races help you improve this skill and enable you to get a really great session under your belt on a Tuesday evening. The dates for the remaining 2 races in the Emmett and Smith Series can be found via the link below: The Emmett & Smith Aquathlons – CLICK HERE Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
