RACE 5 – TUESDAY 17th September 2013
AQUATHLON – RACE 5 A small number of competitors braved the damp evening for the last Aquathlon of 2013. Because of the dull weather and the light vanishing on us so early we only allowed people to race the shorter distance and we also adjusted the run course to avoid people having to run in darkness on the towpath. It was a great night and everyone worked hard and for many delivered their best times of the season! Aquathlon is a relatively unknown multisport event, but it is a sport in it’s own right and even has it’s own World Championship. Running immediately after a swim is a difficult skill to master and we hope these races help you improve this skill and enable you to get a really great session under your belt on a Tuesday evening. The dates for the remaining race in the Emmett and Smith Series can be found via the link below: The Emmett & Smith Aquathlons – CLICK HERE Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
