RACE DAY CHECKLIST SWIM Wetsuit Goggles (make sure you have tinted lens if sunny, clear lens if cloudy) Swim Cap (however you will get one for your race from the organisers) Anti-Chaffing Lube (put on your neck, wrists and ankles to prevent chaffing from the wetsuit) Tri-suit (1 piece or 2 piece) Number belt or safety pins Heart rate monitor and watch (if using one) Timing Chip Gel (to be taken 20 minutes before)
BIKE Bike Helmet Bike Shoes Sunglasses (dark lens if sunny conditions or clear/tinted if not) Bottle(s) with electrolyte or water Spare inner tubes (for puncture) Mini pump Jacket/Gillet (depending on weather conditions) Race number (if you did not put it on for the swim) Extra bottle of water to be left in transition
RUN Run Shoes Socks (if you wear them) Visor/cap Jacket/Gillet (depending on weather conditions) Gloss girls (for the finishing picture)
OTHER Race Registration paperwork and ID Pre-race drinks and nutrition/gels and bars Track pump to pump up tyres Allen keys in case of mechanical alteration Safety pins for race number Bright coloured towel for transition Duct tape to tape nutrition on bike Warm clothing for after the race Money for day licence if not a BTF member Bin liner to put wet clothes etc.. in after the race Toilet Roll...you never know Medications ie..hay-fever, asthma etc...
