want to personally welcome each and every one of you to the 2016 Parade of Homes®. This year, we have 28 fabulous homes for you to tour, and each one has many unique features that make every entry a must-see. Once again, this year some of the Coastal Bend’s finest builders have come together to demonstrate the artistry of their trade. The Parade of Homes® is, indeed, a spectacular display of architecture and craftsmanship, and it is an event you don’t want to miss.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTS

The Builders Association Corpus Christi Area is a member-driven, non-profit organization that seeks to educate and inform the general public and its membership about the building industry. It also strives to provide the area communities with the highest of dedicated, qualified building industry professionals who take pride in their workmanship and in customer satisfaction. These 28 beautifully constructed homes weren’t only built by some of the area’s top homebuilders, as they couldn’t do it alone. The Builders Association Corpus Christi Area is also made up of over 240 very talented and competent subcontractors who help make the homes you see spectacular. The BACC members have numerous opportunities to stay educated and up-to-date with the latest codes and regulations. Energy Star and Green building are also promoted through the Builders Association. A home is probably going to be one of your largest investments, and we encourage you to use the builders and sub-contractors who play an important role in our industry and in our community. Our BACC members will be with you at church, in civic organizations, and here tomorrow when you need them! If you are going to be remodeling, updating, or building a new home in the near future, we hope you will ask each and every one if they are a member of the Builders Association Corpus Christi Area.

Tickets are $5 each. Each ticket provides you entry into all 28 of the 2016 Parade homes, and can be purchased at any of the homes or online. Best of all, a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit “Operation Finally Home”. We invite you to enjoy the works of art that have been brought to life by some very dedicated members of our Association. Every year it seems that the Parade of Homes® gets a little better than the year before. A lot of hard work and sweat go into making it a success, and it always comes together in the end with the finished product of awe-inspiring homes that offer a menu of exquisite home options. Not only will you witness breathtaking masterpieces, but you will also be graced with the beauty of the more affordable price-ranged home. If touring the Parade of Homes® sparks a desire to own a home of your own, yet you do not know where to start, then take some extra time to visit with the builders or their representatives in the homes. They can answer your questions. Let them show you the special features of each home that you won’t see in homes of old. You never know, you could end up with your very own Parade home! Within this Parade guide are maps to each featured home along with floor plans and elevations. This year’s Showcase Home featured by the Builders Association Corpus Christi Area is built in the Sandy Creek subdivision by the BACC Past Presidents Council. Many thanks go out to our talented builders and associate members for their hard work and dedication to make the Parade of Homes® and our Showcase Home a continued success. The multi-site Parade of Homes® will be open from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day of the Parade. Be sure to complete the back of your entry ticket after you have gone through all the homes to register for a flat screen television, courtesy of Grande Communications, and to vote for your favorite home.
