Happy New Years Division 33! With a fresh new year before us I encourage you all to reflect on the past 9 months of your terms. Think about what you accomplished thus far as well as what you want to achieve. With less than three months of our terms left I hope you all set a goal and push yourselves to grow and strengthen your clubs to their fullest potential. And speaking of terms, I’m excited to attend a few club elections this month! If your club hasn’t already, message me the date you plan to hold elections. If you need any help with the process let me know! And of course with club elections right around the corner, we will also be electing our new Lieutenant Governor. The election rally is coming up very shortly and I would like to thank all the clubs that have informed me of the two delegated they plan to send. This event is important in determining the future representative of our division. Everyone is welcomed and the attire is business casual so please dress appropriately. This month we also have our January DCM hosted by Auburn Riverside Key Club (more information can be found on page 6). The food assignments and other logistics will be posted soon! At this DCM I will also be going over some DCON information for officers that have started planning or for members that are interested in attending. A general overview of District Convention as well as a T-Shirt design contest can be found on pages 8-9. That’s all the news I have for now Krakens! I hope 2017 has been good to everyone so far. See you all soon! With love and service, Rheanna Borromeo, Division 33 Lt.G

Vy Nguyen
I joined Key Club because my friend has told me about it. I stayed in Key Club because I love how everyone was so spirited, caring and was always so ready to get involved to help the community and the world be a better place
IN my free time I love to dance, write, watch Kdramas and Kpop videos, send memes to my friends, and nap
Growing up I’ve always love to dance, for example I would learn the dances to High School Musical. When my best friend during middle school told me to go into a dance battle during lunch, so it wasn’t until 6th grade when I started to realize that I loved performing and wanted to get better.
“
Vy was chosen as this month’s DCM attendee spotlight for her continuous spirit and commitment in and outside of Key Club. Her performance with Ruby Kang at the December DCM definitely hyped up the crowd and increased our love for KPOP! –Rheanna B
”
My favorite style of dance to do would be freestyling, and waacking. My favorite style to watch would be popping and waving
I would perform with Lauren Froderman because I’ve been following her as a dancer ever since I was in elementary school going into middle school. She’s a very versatile dancer so if I was able to dance with her it’s be a great sentimental experience.
