HEY KRAKENS! The past month has been very busy for many clubs, I was thrilled to see so many of you participating in Trick or Treat for Unicef and for getting your dues in on time. Keep up the hard work! Especially since it’s the season of giving, make sure to continue serving your schools and communities. Always feel free to shoot me a message if your club is needing extra service opportunities or fundraising ideas. I want to thank everyone for coming out to our October DCM and November DCM, despite them being scheduled so close to each other! I was so happy to see the passion from everyone whether it be making cards for the food bank, or packaging goodie bags for the children‘s hospital. Be prepared for a lot of updates and events during the month of November. Coming up on the 19th we have our first annual Dance to Cure: Seattle! Also at the Fall District Board meeting at the beginning of the month, each Lieutenant Governor brought back all the KCCP merchandise that their division ordered. I will be making visits to all the clubs throughout this month to pass on the merchandise that was paid for. Finally, if you’re interested on taking on the role of Lieutenant Governor for the 2017-2018 service year make sure to mark your calendars for the interest meeting coming up on December 9th. That’s all I have for now Krakens, hope to see you all soon! In love and service,

Rheanna Borromeo3

October DCM Recap

4

The Division 33 October DCM was a costume-contest meeting hosted by Auburn Mountainview High School. Schools throughout the division came together to create Halloweenthemed goodie bags for the Seattle Children’s Hospital. The service project was so efficient that we ran out of bags in less than 10 minutes! As members awaited more supplies we sang and danced our hearts out as we had a “Riff-Off” similar to the popular movie Pitch Perfect. Thank you so much to everyone who came out! Hope to see you at the next DCM!
