Lieutenant Governor Hey Krakens! As we sadly say goodbye to summer and begin school, I hope you’re all preparing for the start of Key Club meetings. Thank you to everyone who came to the August Joint DCM with 32! We raised over $80 from the miracle minute for KCCP and made about 150 non-slip socks for the Seattle Children’s Hospital! Our September DCM is coming up soon so keep an eye out for the Facebook event page, and make sure to advertise this to all of your new members! September is the perfect time to increase membership and advertise Key Club throughout your school, so make sure you’re posting up flyers and posters! Dues season is also upon us, so stress this to your clubs! That’s all for now, till next time, stay Kraken! In love and service,
Rheanna Borromeo Rheanna Borromeo Division 33 Lt. Governor

International Trustee! Greetings, Pacific Northwest District! My name is Nicole Montana, and I am honored to introduce myself as your new International Trustee. This year, I will be serving the Kansas, Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee, and Pacific Northwest Districts, and I feel so lucky to be working with you all in the coming year. I’m from the New England and Bermuda District, and I’m from Marshfield, Massachusetts, a small beach town just south of Boston, where I’m going into my senior year. I’m on my school’s Mock Trial team and am a part of my Drama Club, but when I started high school three years ago, Key Club was the first club I joined. The time I’ve spent and the people I’ve met in Key Club have changed my life and allowed me to meet some of my best friends. As your International Trustee I’m here to ensure that you can make the most of your time in Key Club. I’m here to be the link between you and Key Club International, to ensure that you have a voice in our organization, and that you’re informed about what’s going on at the International level. I hope that during this year, I get to many of you and that you feel comfortable coming to me as both a resource and as a fellow Key Club member. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at anytime by email or at 781-738-8623. I'm also on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so feel free to add me there as well! This is going to be an amazing year and I'm so excited to see what we all accomplish!
In friendship and service, Nicole Montana

Kiwanis clubs are encouraged to work with their SLPs on projects like Worldwide Day of Play—when the network goes black and kids are encouraged to head outdoors and help their community. Learn what your club can do to engage at nick.com/thebighelp. The U.S. Army partnership is based on a foundation of shared values. Engaging in local opportunities, U.S. Army personnel connect with Kiwanis family members and provide access to local battalion support and resources. Contact your local battalion to invite soldiers to speak at a club meeting, take part in service projects and become Kiwanis members. goarmy.com.
