Dim Sum Anyone? Kids Only
When traders were travelling along the Silk Road, they needed places to rest and relax during their long journeys. They stopped off at tea houses, for small-portion meals with tea called “yum cha” or “drink tea” meals. The tea is very important, just as important as the food! Dim Sum dumplings are usually made from rice flour and are filled with more delicious fillings than you could possibly imagine. There are more than a thousand different kinds of Dim Sum, from buns filled with BBQ pork to the sweet egg sauce buns which erupts, as soon as you bite them. Do you want to learn how to make your own Dim Sum? Why don’t you come and learn at our workshop on 14 November!
